View Full Version : [ISBoxer] Issues with IWT

So I set up alt+G to do IWT. I also set up g as the actual key pressed to do IWT. I have a 2-step key map set up through FTL DPS 2 that presses 2 > 9. I have a team that consists of: Prot pally, Arcane Mage, Resto Druid, Marks Hunter, and Rogue.

I set up my 2-step key map to press 2 > 9 > G to the rogue ( so that after attacking with my abilities he moves up into range of the mob or the next mob if the last one died.)

Issue I am having is the rogue does not respond to the G (IWT). He still stands there out of range of whatever I am attacking and stands in "combat ready" form.

I have tried several different combinations of this action. I have tried in one step sending 2 > 9 > G 4. I have also tried adding another step that all it does is send "g" to my rogue and he still stands there and looks stupidly at the mob.

I have run out of ideas on how to fix this problem and its super frustrating. I am currently pressing "alt + g" which sends ALL my team members to IWT. While this is fine on some trash (i disenguage the hunter) I would much rather have the rogue move up and attack the group correctly.

Any suggestions?

The rogue will need the IWT keybind in the game.
It will need your software to be sending the IWT to the rogue.
And it will need to have Click to Move enabled, at least at the time that the IWT is given.

The default (IS Boxer) IWT/CTM is a two step.
It enables CTM, sends IWT, and then disables CTM.
So if you click your mouse on the ground, your toon doesn't run to that point.

If you want IWT to be executed on a single step.
You'll need to have CTM enabled all of the time.

I use a setup that only sends IWT to my melee toons.
But is imbedded into all of the keys that I spam for my DPS.
With a toggle that can enable/disable this mapped key.

The toggle isn't in my example post.
It's a two step mapped key.
Step 1:
- Keymap Actions > Mapped Key State Action > Melee Only IWT Key, Off, All.
- Pop Up Text > Current Window > Melee IWT is Off.
Step 2:
- Keymap Actions > Mapped Key State Action > Melee One IWT Key, On, All.
- Pop Up Text > Current Window > Melee IWT is On.

I have CTM set and IWT is mapped on my rogue to the "G" key. And I have that exact step setup and it still isn't functioning properly.

I'd post your profile then.

Copy to clip board, in the Toolkit.
Omit your account names.

Paste it on privatepaste.com, with a month duration.
Copy and paste the link to that here.
Ideally with an [IS Boxer] tag, on the thread.

Okay if you could give me a quick walkthrough on ISBoxer on how to copy a profile I'll be glad to. I have only been using it for about 2 weeks now so I am not sure how to do that.

Any ideas on why it isn't working

moved to the Software forum, since this is about ISBoxer, not multiboxing in general.

Your rogue isn't moving because he doesn't have Click to Move enabled when you pass him the IWT key.

You don't need to have G->4 set in a second step, you can put that in the same step. All you need is Click to Move to be on.

The reason Click to Move (CTM) turns off is because the standard IWT Mapped Key in the General key map, which you are using, turns CTM on in step 1, and back off in step 2. That's because most people play with CTM off. You can just remove the Action from Step 2 of Interact with Target in the General key map, making it an empty Step, if you want. If you remove that Step entirely, change the "execute a Step when the Hotkey is _______" option to just "pressed" or just "released" instead of "pressed OR released".
