Your favourite Spells/Actions with your DKs are...

Hi,
starting just a 4 DK Team, actually all lvl 65.
Sure, some Spells are not available because of my Level,
but what are your favourite or most effective Spells you use?

As a Blood DK, seems that spamming Deathstrike is an Option,
Deathcoil adittionaly.
But then i got breka in my Rota.

It´s only for PVP so what do you use?

For random BGs i like the Survivability of the Bloodspec.
But i´ll try the other Speccs,when i fixed my issues with ISBoxer and the Melees.

Necrotic strike. That with chained silences puts any healer out of business.

When I was messing around with Blood and Frost.

I found Blood survives longer.
But Frost kills things so much quicker.

Overall Frost was superior because while my toons could die in less time, they'd easily kill a number of opponents who would take much longer to kill my Blood spec toons (but who would kill the Blood toons).

Experiment and see what works for you.

Once you get Howling Blast.
Your rotation is a priority.
Howling Blast (Frost Rune) > Frost Strike (Runic Power dump) > Necrotic Strike (Unholy Rune).
You don't need to use a Blood ability, because they're permanently Death Runes for you.
You can mess around with Death Coil (lower priority than Frost Strike) as another Runic Power dump, for when things aren't in melee with you.

Hi Ualaa,
Are you still using 2H? Or have you gone DW? I didn't start a new thread, as the question probably has relevance to the OP.

And for the OP,
I basically just implemented Ualaa's interpretation of The Manifesto and it is working ridiculously well. I just spam the "ranged rotation" (HB, MF in step 1 and HB, FS, FS, NS, OBL in step 2). I don't even worry about the other spam attack Ualaa has setup on the "2" button. The ranged rotation pulls around 18k on the training dummies before Pillar of Frost and Horn of Winter. This works well enough in non-rated BG's that even the most heavily geared opponents drop in a couple of seconds ... long before they can react to what is happening to them.

I guess my answer to your question is that for me the most effective spells are HB, MF, FS, NS and OBL. But only because Mosq2 and Ualaa did all the heavy lifting.

There's no spell like Howling Blast. It's simply awesome. 50% snare, 20 atk speed debuff, 30 yard range and aoe dmg all in one spammable spell.

From what others are saying, Dual Wielding is more damage than a 2-Hander.

My Pally/4x DK team hasn't been on since the mid-part of 4.1.
The only changes really are likely Mastery > Haste, Dual-Wield and take Blood Strike out of the rotation.

I took about 6 months away from the game.
I'm in the process of gearing my Druid team, Resto first (thanks to that video by Cyberus) and then Feral.
Will level the Shammies (80th now) and gear them too.
Then hopefully the DK/Pally team has enough time to gear up before MoP arrives.
