Hey folks -

Just really wanted to say hi to the community and introduce myself. I'm a long time wow player (started in the US beta - now play on Eu) Started with one account, upgraded to two about 6 months ago and while it was fun, alt-tabbing is a b*tch ^^ Like many people, i kinda stumbled on this website but have been totally sold that MBing is the way forward lol

Bought my copy of keyclone last night, had a little play around with a couple of mages and was pretty impressed so I've decided i'll jump straight in at the deep end and go for a 5-box lol My main account has a 70 warrior and mage and a 60(ish) shammy, my second account has my 70 priest on it so i should have no problem powerlevelling the other 3 accounts. I know my PC can confidently run 4 accounts, might have to dig out some old components and build another for the 5th though but ill try it on one first.

So last night i got in from work at midnight, had a play around with my mages and decided to go for it. Created 3 trial accounts (which ill upgrade after the 10 days ofc) and then went for a bifta while i was thinking about my group make -up. After some deliberation, i came back full of enthusiasm and raring to get started, only to find the servers had gone down for maintainance... bloody typical lol.

Anyhoo, i think I've (finally) settled on a group of 1 pally (tank), 2 locks, 1 mage and 1(holy) priest. I was really torn between this group or swapping out the mage for a resto shammy and making the priest shadow for the synergy but it would make it harder to PL them given how my accounts are currently set up.

So, i guess ill be spending a lot of time in lowbie instances over the next week or so levelling my pally and locks. Roll on the outland ^^

Btw, are there any well known MB'ers on the EU realm Deathwing? Just asking cause I am on there and tbh, I have nevr seen an MB'er on it before (seen loads of bots tho ^^)

Anyway, Hi guys, I'm Dave

Heya Dave and welcome to the forums!

i thought i would just point out something that i believe many people overlook in their enthusiasm..

:!: don't forget to 'recruit-a-friend' from your main account to your new accounts

and of course, keep the names the same everywhere. this should save you a month's fee per account.
you could slide around the recruit-a-friends so the free month isn't lumped on one account... but i think you get my point

good luck and don't forget to post the pics of your group on the screenshots forums... it's always great to watch em grow up :D

God i didnt even think of that keyclone! Thanks a bunch, you just saved me £30.

Tbh I would have thought that there would be a clause in the T&C's of recruit a friend that would prevent this, but if others are doing this and haven't been pulled up then what the hell

I consider it an un-intended "Thank you" from Blizzard just for Multi-boxers..."HAY GUYZ Thanks for paying us extra every month, have a free month per acct as a thank you lolz"

And to think this isn't available in Denmark :(

I do wonder who made this so and why they did it. Whatever the reason, I don't like it!

Had to give guild mates from other countries free months instead...

It should be available toyou...just log into your acct on wow's site and hit hte Recruit-a-friend button up near the top, put in "their" email and create an acct with that then put in your box's cdkey to upgrade it to full; you'll get the trial time + box's free month on the new account and when the new acct pays it's first month, the referring acct gets a free month; forgot to do it with my 2nd acct but referred my third with my first/main acct and it worked fine lol

If that was a reply to me, I'll have to inform you that you are wrong :)

For some obscure reason, refer a friend is only available in most, but not all, European countries. I just happen to be in one of the wrong ones. The Recruit-A-Friend button on my first two accounts simply doesn't work, citing local legislation or somesuch thing. Pfeh.

Enough of that, though! Welcome and good luck Dave. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay ;)

Hey Dave - come roll your multi box team on Al'Akir and join The Zerg!

You may not be able to boost them but levelling is nice and fast now with the changes to exp gain - and we are a friendly bunch with plenty of bags in the bank to help you start out.

I am rolling that exact same team makeup so it would be great to have somebody else who isnt playing pal4sham to discuss macros and keybinds with :)
