There was lots of Q_Q but I left after the first boss because my dps was low (ranging from 7k to 11k) and I have to go out anyway :D

I'll be queuing again soon for the other 3 bosses as they aren't dps checks but hey, RAIDING IS ALMOST VIABLE (apart from the shit dps).

You'll be doing 18-20k dps in no time. So easy to gear up now.

Raid finder is pretty easy to gear up... working on getting 4 of the deathwing staves on the shams. Got 1/4, and 3 shams have their 2pc tier 13. I'm pretty confident that DS will end up like ICC where we will see some one 10box, or 2 x 5 box it. The fights are pretty much perfect setup for multi-boxing.

Yeah honestly not much movement, very few insta death mechanics and loose dps requirements. Should be cake to do.

Anyone else get really bad lag in this place.
Ive been doing both with 4 shammies and can just about manage it with the low fps im getting, about 5-12fps.
Last night i went in and first boss of fall of deathwing it was doing 2 fps,, pretty much made my dps 6k, also got kicked when we wiped.

Test boss dummy in sw, i do 10-15k dps. Test boss dummy in ironforge 25-30k+ dps...A raid, 10k or less depending how laggy it gets : /

I would suspect an addon. Try disabling everything you dont need.

Are you telling me that you do 30k+ dps on a target dummy while boxing an elemental shaman? I'm sorry but that would be the same as me saying that when I put my dick in your neck you gonna think it's my leg.

I disable all addons when I run LFR, I've narrowed it down to either Skada or DBM causing my lag issues in Raid finder.

Ye i have alot of addons running, i disabled some of them, getting an fps increase.
Went in with 3 shammies 1st and 2nd boss with addons on, fps below 10 and dps 12k.
Disabled most of them and got my fps increase 20+fps, dps increase to 25k+.
So ye addons it is,,thanks for that :) get new components in couple days so hopefully will have all 5 running on 1 pc.

To the guy before,,i was getting 30k+ dps on the dummy with elementals out and heroism.
I dont see how thats hard to achiev, ive been in LFR and seen shaman do more than that.
I was getting that on the PTR.
Heck on trash im usually top dps just from using earthquake and chain lightning, its bosses the lag gets really bad, usually half way through the fight it feels like my pc is going to explode.

You are talking crap. There is NO WAY in the world that you can do 30k+ dps vs a raid boss dummy while multiboxing ele shamans, unless you aoe other dummies as well. But you clearly said multiple times Dummy, not dummies. Which is a significant difference. If you pull 20k you should be happy :)

Not really going to get into this one was just saying what i was getting on dummies with recount, not sure what i would gain from lying that i do 30k dps on a dummy, half my complaint here is why im getting such crap dps most of the time.


Anyhoo,, seems the biggest pain is DBM but still with all these disabled my computer just seems to be crap when using LFR
First and last boss of fall of deathwing are my biggest problems.
one shami got kicked from first boss for doing 9k, was getting 8 or less fps, another shammi disconnected and windows aero got disabled.

Also gratz ash on that, hopefully now that your geared would like to see you do the rest with them shammans

Ok went back in today, did the first 3 no problem, sheepishly quit the raid when the eye of eternity boss came up, couldn't be arsed wiping the raid.

I was doing 13k minimum dps.

I won leg token, 2 hand tokens, 1 mail bracers and an awesome trinket, but I left 2 hand tokens and the mail bracers in the dungeon, so hopefully, a GM will read my ticket, see all the kisses I've put at the end and politely give them back :(

Doing this to optimize token / equipment upgrades for my characters to max them out. so far 7 / 9 of my mages have at least a 2 piece, a rogue has a full set and my shams have at least 2 piece as well. LFR is so easy its pointless to run LFG anymore.

Ok, I revisited this and got some exciting (theorycrafted) news to tell you.

It's definitely possible to 10 box the entire raid in LFR, I thought the 4th boss would be tricky but, all you have to do is make a conga macro where each character follows one, making a line of 10, and then you just run in a big arc around the poles.

Turns out thats a fail idea as I tried it in LFR.

Best thing to do is a formation macro and then turn on repeater to make them all run like a gaggle of girls chasing a football.

Spread and heal while the other 15 people deal with the lightning nodes?

Nah,

I just spread out into my 10 point formation (bowling pins) and then put repeater on and ran slightly behind the main pack so the lightning kept jumping around my toons and back to the main pack.

It's all easy mode anyway, I don't think a single boss enrages.

btw on hagara grounding totem will eat the shattered ice she does right after/before focussed assault. There is no other spell in the encounter that will consume your totem, so you can basically just drop it.
