About RAF

Hi,

Completely new to multiboxing here and I have been thinking abit about how I can set raf up.
At the moment I have two accounts, 1 with a paladin 85 that I intend to use for boosting the first 4 toons.
I acc with a mage 85 that I will probably xfer --> paladin acc when I have got my 4 rafmages to 85.

Is it possible for me to Recruit 2 accounts with my paladin account, and recruit one with my Mage account
and have the paladin boosting with all the other accounts getting boost xp?

How would you do in this situation, the only thing I want is that the paladin should be able to boost and I want
to be able to use my other existing account as I dont want to spend more money then neccesary.

For any character to get bonus xp that character has to be linked via raf, either as a veteran or a recruit, to at least 1 other character OF SIMILAR LEVEL.

So in your case if you recruited two from the pallys account, those 2 characters would not be able to get xp bonus while powerleveling because your pally is more than I believe its 4 levels higher than the recruits. If instead you recruited 1 account with the pally and then used that recruited account to recruit another, there would then be a link between the two similar leveled characters and you get the bonus. The problem with that is you don't get as many grantable levels to your original account, but that might not matter to you.

If you are looking for 5 mages as a team, I think it seems like it would be most effective to recruit 3 accounts with the pally account, create a mage on each as well as the pally account... and then use your mage account to PL them. Then you don't have to transfer anything.

The OP's plan should work...

RAF FAQ:

"You must be within 4 levels of one another and meet all other triple experience requirements in order for both characters to receive the experience boost. If this level requirement is not met, only the lower level character will receive the bonus."

This means that both RAF accounts linked to the Paladin account would get the RAF bonus from the Paladin.

It feels like this used to be different in the past where the lower level guy wouldn't get the bonus, but this is currently not the case it seems.
