I ordered my first copy Aug,1st .. what day did you order and did you get in? Since they are not giving us any idea on how many each day, it will be interesting to see who makes it in and what the day you applied your code.

Looks like the forums are up, but we cant post until you apply your live code, lol.. nice way to ease the QQing if the launch goes bad or the thousands of QQs saying " I ordered early but im not in!! waaaa! "

Yea, I didn't even think about the name part.. that will suck if my names are taken! 8( I wonder if they will let more people in the first day by the hour? Like keep tabs on who the servers are handling it, and let more log in etc..

I ordered within a few hours of them opening up preorders. I got in this morning at 6:00 am CST, but i only had enough time to save all my names i use, and now im heading to work. :-(

I see about 20+ servers all with "light" populations, and i had no queue to login.

This early access is the biggest load of crap I have ever seen by a mmo. I ordered my game in July and it's now asking me to enter my game code again. If I put in my code AGAIN it says this has already been used. There is a sticky on the CS forum saying if it's not working for you just wait and see. I never received an email for the beta invite so I don't expect an email for this. Only time will tell if pre-ordering the game on Amazon was worth it. For now I guess we have to just try logging in everyday until Dec 20.

I'm waiting. Does anyone else have to log in again when you click on account sometimes? It's really irritating when it shows me logged in at the top while I have to log in a second time. This happens at random when I click on different links on the website. Overall I think their website is crap. When I browse the site it usually makes me log in at different points about 2 or 3 times. Sometimes when I enter my log in it won't accept it even though it was entered correct.

The plan as I understand it is to have everyone who pre-ordered to be in the game by the original early access date of the 15th.

I am anticipating my first of two invites either today or tomorrow, and my second tomorrow or Wednesday.

If you entered a code before then you are fine. There are 2 codes. The pre-order code and the retail code. You will not need to enter the retail code until you actually get it, which hopefully will be before the 20th when early access ends. Multiple waves of emails are going out today so if you didn't get in the first batch, just relax and drink a cup of coffee. My Origin retail code is supposed to be emailed on the 15/16th, but my pre-order code was entered back when I got it.

Generally. Rift did pretty well except for long queues on some servers, DCU did really well, AoC sucked hard nuts. I'm thinking Bioware is big enough to keep it from becoming a disaster. What they are doing is trickling people in and monitoring loads, which is very smart, instead of opening the flood gates all at once.

Ordered my pre-order in late July and I'm not in yet either. Pinot- you're fine and will be sent another code once your credit card is actually charged.

Main thing about getting in early is getting the names I want like others mentioned. Wonder how many people rushed to get Vader, Revan, etc... lol

Very true, but after the 4 weeks of stress testing they did to see how the flow of 2.5 million testers would go, i would assume their staggered launch idea came from the load they anticipated. In all hopes everyone should hopefully be in the 15th. I keep hearing everyone talking about a second codes.

In all honestly i have 3 accounts and 1 CE. CE of course is not here yet,but 2 of the 3 Digital downloads were registered with only 1 code, and both of those were done on July 21st. I got 2 toons in wave 1 and wave 2.

2 Were registered each with a Digital download code, not a single code, but 1 per order.

I should rephrase what i meant to type: I have 4 accounts total - 3 Digital Downloads and 1 CE, 2 of the 3 DDs were done on July 21st and both got in this morning prior to wave 3. The last DD i registered last night so i do not expect it to be available until later this week.

Oh sorry if there was some confusion, I got in on the account that I had preordered day 1 about 30-60 minutes after preorders went live. I did not get in yet on the account from 7/27, I would guess it will be tomorrow or Thursday.

I got in during the first wave with both accounts; however, I'm still having issues with the follow command in the respect that it breaks very easily, and my second character seems to be bouncing around, just as it did for me in the last beta test. I'm spamming my follow key as a temporary remedy. Companion pathing seems fine for both characters in comparison.

It might be something I'm doing incorrectly. If I figure it out, I'll update this post. Otherwise, I've been having a great time. Waiting for TOR felt like an eternity.

Really, this isn't a problem that's restricted to The Old Republic, when you think about it. I just ignore it. Players will often cultivate some type of self-purported status symbol in order to elevate and stratify their position within the community if possible; it's simply human nature. That said, the "CE VIP" nonsense was easily avoided unless you were intentionally clicking into those threads, and the pre-order date won't matter soon enough, either.

I do feel for people who haven't gotten into EGA yet (some of my friends are still waiting on their invites), but I haven't noticed anyone in game gloating about it (or maybe that's because I tend to avoid general chat unless absolutely necessary).

In any case, I'll stop there to avoid derailing this thread any further, but the next wave of EGA invites, according to Stephen Reid's Twitter account (http://twitter.com/#%21/Rockjaw), will be going out tomorrow morning:

In general the world works this way, you fork out for a deluxe product you usually(some fail on this) get preferential treatment. You fork out the money for the VIP box at a sporting event you do get to enjoy the game in a different(some would say better) fashion than most. Why not the same for video games? What IS wrong with people is that they think that having the money for VIP access, etc. makes them think they are better than others. But this is off topic, so I apologize.

I did fork out the money for the CE for the items, but hoped that it would also be some other benefits to it. It was a slim hope, but a hope non the less. Just hoping I get in on/by the 15th at least, pre-ordered in October so not holding my breath.

Hi guys.

Just thought I'd contribute. I entered my code on the 26th and got in on the 4th wave yesterday.

The servers were pretty empty. And they kept adding more throughout the night. There were about twice as many servers as of half an hour ago then there was at the start of the last wave.

My guess is the rest of July & the first 2-3 weeks of Aug gets in tomorrow since they said it would be a bigger number of ppl getting invites.

I only got one acc in so far, god i love this game.. I plan on boxing after i get my first lvl 50 and get a good "feel" of the game, i did the mistake of not doing so in Rift.. wont do the same again :)

Someone mentioned the elitist on the forums. I don't think it's elitists but just a bunch of ASSHOLES, lol. This game seems to have attracted a plethora of real douchebags. But I'm just going to chalk it up to being new. Over in Rift there's tons of them too even today 9 months into launch.

That'd be good news and I hope you're right. All I was able to find out in official threads was that today they'd get beyond July but... with caution :).

I know that the 3rd wave today concerned some September orders but I can assure you not all as my first is 30th October and not in yet ;).

This first one I redeemed on the 30th September and I got in tonight (EU) last (4th) wave.
My second account will most likely be in tomorrow, 1st wave (24th October) and my last two, well... hoping soon :D (redeemed 11th December).

I got my first one in the first wave this morning pre-order date 8/1, then at lunch my second one got in 9/22 pre order date.. I'm playing both but have serious follow lag issues ( never had follow issues in beta )
