I want a 2 person mount for my booster. The only way I know of is thru RAF. If I discount the free month then it would cost $20 right now to get that mount. Is there a less expensive way to get a 2 person mount?

I don't understand. Are you talking about the RAF mount or another one? I have an unclaimed RAF mount and the Blizz site says
Once the mount is claimed, you will not be able to transfer it to another character.

If that is the case I could transfer my X-53 to the booster.
According to Woehead it is a BoP item.

If you have gold in game, there are two-seater mounts.
I believe some of the engineering bikes are two-seaters.
The Vial of the Sands/Sandstone Drake is an expensive flyer, but that is also a two-seater.

Is a 3 person mount, it doesn't fly, but it does have vendors and repair.

Do not advocate breaking the rules of the game you are discussing. Blizzard does not allow the use of in game currency for out of game benefits. Telling people to break the rules by using goldsellers is a great big NO.

If it is against the ToS of the game you are discussing it is against dual-boxing.com's community guidelines to discuss ways of breaking said ToS. We are COMMITTED to keeping our hobby 100% compliant with the ToS of any game we play.
Unless specifically authorized by the game's ToS there is to be no talk of purchasing or selling characters, in-game items or currency.

I actually did buy it with gold.. I thought once i got the rocket it was mine, so now I'm out my rocket and gold.. That's awesome.
I am sorry for your loss, Phillipo, though we try to provide what restorations we can during these scam investigations it may not always be possible. Understand that these types of transaction are not supported and in fact are usually a direct violation of our Terms of Use which affects our ability to provide such restorations.

We are against the selling of Game Cards for in-game currency, Nosoi, similarly, I would suggest that one refrains from RaF links for gold as well. Do not be discouraged, though; if you truly have your heart set on utilizing the Recruit-a-Friend promotion, you may create a second account that you may then play-at the same time-to receive the benefits. That method is perfectly legitimate way of going about it. :0)

To clarify, Liquidate. We are permitted to sell our products for out of game money, they are our products. We are not required to abide by our Terms of Use, it is our product, we provide those terms to those who wish to use it.
We do not, however, permit others to profit on our product by trading virtual property for real world currency or services.
Yes, the rocket is an item that you use in-game, but you do not obtain the rocket through in-game actions (i.e. there is no way for your character to obtain the item in-game, not from a vendor, or completion of a quest or achievement).
It is only obtainable through actions and purchases made out of game.

Greetings all!
With the introduction of the new Winged Guardian mount we have seen an increased number of reports from players falling victim trade scams. We'd like to take this opportunity remind everyone that the transfer of these items for in-game gold (virtual property) is not supported. While our In-Game Support department may be able to investigate these matters and take appropriate actions towards the scamming account, we are likely unable to assist with the reclamation of any virtual currency exchanged for the product.
As mentioned above, though to expand further, this applies to all such transactions that fall into this category including: purchased virtual pets and mounts, game time/game cards, and Recruit a Friend promotional benefits.
Emphasis mine.
