Hi guys. Just a month ago I was inspired by a 1 Resto Druid / 4 DK arena video to try researching melee multiboxing.

I'm using a 2 pc setup where I tell by melee to focus target while having Interact With Target enabled so they will run up to my target. One variable I'm dealing with is when my target moves around a lot. My melee stops following unless I'm spamming the Interact With Target buttons.

What are the solutions all of you expert melee boxers are using to combat this issue?

I'm using hotkeynet with 2 PCs. Playing WoW with 5 Druids. 1 resto, 4 feral.

I appreciate any inputs and ideas you can give me to make sure I'm doing it most effectively. I hope talking about particular boxing programs are not a problem...

The only way to follow your target when it moves is to spam your interact with target keybind

OR

I have no experience with hotkeynet but in the program I use I would have the interract with target keybind set to the same as my DPS. this way i only have to hit 1 key

Like Kris1234 said, Interact with Target must be called every time your slaves need to move to follow. If you're doing PvP and you need to constantly spam IWT, you can add it to your DPS key using a Toggle. For example, if [ {Oem4} is your IWT key and 2 is your DPS key, you'd build the below hotkey -

<Hotkey 2>
<Toggle>
<SendLabel w2, w3, w4, w5>
<Key Oem4>
<Toggle>
<SendLabel w1, w2, w3, w4, w5>
<Key 2>

On the first press, it sends the IWT command to your slave windows and on the second press, it sends 2 to all windows.

Of course, spamming IWT will lead to your slaves constantly running around the target (http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=45423) or running off into the distance, so you may need to be ready to combat that. Because of that, it's not something I would recommend for PVE.

The setup itself is here: http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=37658
I'm not saying that is the only approach to a Healer + 4x DK setup, but it is one that works/worked for me.

The video links don't seem to be working, but I've got a text version (in the post) of my methodology or interpretation of those videos.
So you essentially can read the setup, even if you cannot see/hear Mosg2 explain it.
