Yo! I must be daft or something, i cant get my IS setup to work,(how to get it to run with VideoFX thingy) ive read Lax guide but i cant figure out how to actually get the windows to work.. can someone who has a setup running tell me abitt how its setup in ISboxer? not the keymaps etc, that i can make, but how to get 4 windows to launch i still get the "You can only run one instance of this game" crap..

This is the only thing standing in my way before i go ahead and preorder 3 more copies
I really want to be ready for the release so any help would be so awsome!

Are you running Windows Vista? I'm told that it is not yet working on Vista, but it works perfectly on Windows 7 as long as you're on the dev build of Inner Space and the latest ISBoxer 39 (or 40 beta) build

I use win 7 so that should not be an issue, i just dont understand how the dxNothing window works and how its suposed to make it so that i can open more then one client, im sorry if i cant explain it good enough..

My personal recommendations for SWTOR window layouts at the moment will be simulated via Full Screen Stacked plus a dxNothing (http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=1222) window. <- this is what you wrote in your guide, i just cant get it to work, can you or someone else who knows explain more in detail how to get the window layots working so i can launch 4 games? i guess im ISwow damaged haha..

Thanks for your time :) any help is apriciated (sorry for the bad english not my best language)

The dxNothing window has nothing to do with opening more than one client. dxNothing is a blank window for showing video FX, which will let you SEE the other windows once they are up.

What lets you open more than one client is the Inner Space and ISBoxer updates. If you do not have one or the other, you will not be able to launch more than one client.

Here's the important part...

There is both an ISBoxer update (39.1.1126.1) and an Inner Space update (5477, development build of Inner Space). You will need them both. Neither are currently pushed updates, meaning that you will need to specifically do the following:
* ISBoxer: go to the Help menu, and select About ISBoxer Toolkit. If your version is earlier than 39.1.1126.1, it should have a button for you to click to update.
* Inner Space: right click IS and select Patcher, check "Download development (test) patches" then close and re-start Inner Space to let it patch

Again, if you do not have Inner Space build 5477 or later, AND ISBoxer 39.1.1126.1 or later, you should expect a message from the SWTOR launcher saying the game is already running.

in innerspace, go to configuration and turn on "use development releases" then patch it coz i have version 5492 and mine worked fine during beta

EDIT: what isnt working just the dxNothing window? if thats the case then check these in isboxer

1) you added a new character called dxNothing that points to Game "dxNothing" and using Game Profile "dxNothing Default Profile"
2) in character sets, you have an extra slot for this dxNothing character
3) in windows layout, you have the dxNothing window on a seperate monitor
