Wow, I may have to actually break down and get a few more accounts to RAF up all my level 60s to 85. Between all the heirlooms, RAF, and such low prices, it would cost very little in time and effort to have more capped toons.

buy the games for the extra accounts and do not use them until your sure.. you could always resell them later for profit 8) ( unless there's some kind of trading restriction? )

Not a bad idea... I do have a visa gift card that's been burning a hole in my pocket... Any idea if it'd be an issue to buy it now and do RAF later with those accounts? (Sorry if this is a noob question)

No. Game keys do not expire and hold the same value they did when you purchased them (unless you've got spare
TBC expansion keys).

Question(s) with this sale.

I completely forget how this works when it comes to RAF.

1) Do I have to set up the RAF when I purchase?
2) Do I have to use the RAF immediately? (Like, is it possible to purchase these and then use the RAF in march?)

I will have a ton more time in March to level another 5 accounts, but I wanted to know if I have to use the RAF immediately....

Bonus Question: I remember reading a while back that they are removing the questing while in a raid restriction... Has this happend yet... and if so, does that mean I should RAF my 10 accounts together and level 2 sets of 5 at the same time? (like 10 mages together?)

Raid restriction was discussed for MoP, not now. You still can't do normal quests in raids.

change that Blizzard made quite some time ago.

First, thanks on the heads up about TBC. My brain is a little foggy. But clearing up fast!

Also, I am not one hundred percent sure if that is correct (that I can buy as many as I like but only five at a time). First, I ordered three vanilla wows and four Lich Kings, (all digital downloads). Then I attempted to order One boxed version of Lich KIng and three more digital copies (so that is only four) and I also threw in two half priced Panda Monks at five dollars each and one Winged Guardian. Anyway, it said I was over my limit. I nixed the three digital copies and the order went through.

I will run over there now and see if I can place more orders.

Yep, I have had this happen when purchasing too many character transfers in a short amount of time.

Looks like 8 accounts is still the cap... nuts... I wonder if I would be able to transfer a character to the other battle.net account giving him all of the heirloom gear I'd need for the last two accounts before I transfered him...

To answer your question, a Battle.net account can have up to 8 World of Warcraft accounts attached to it at one time. Though if this is something you're interested in, you can have multiple Battle.net accounts registered to you.

Thanks to MiRae and Mercurio for your input,

I did finally get it to work. WoW gods came through for me I suppose. I got the idea to change my order to be 3 boxed versions of Wrath and though I had to pay 10.63 in shipping, it appears to have gone through.

That should cover me for a dual boxing run, a five boxing run following, and another five boxing run with three new accounts linked to two of the first five.

I do hope i get to do this one day...

I finally have all of the physical components. That's a relief anyway.

I am going to go out in 30 degree weather now, listen to my Pink Floyd and look up at the stars.

I purchased 5x cata 4 days ago and went to purchase another 5 this morning and got the "You've already purchased the maximum quantity of this item" message. Both digital downloads on the same battlenet.

Going to buy on a second battlenet account instead. That should work except I left the keychain authenticator at home (for that account) and now have to wait out my 12 hour shift to make the purchase. :)

Update: I guess the purchase limit is tied to your name and mailing address. I couldn't order more than 5 digital copies across 3 battlenets despite clearing cache/cookies etc. But I was able to order 5 extra physical copies. So you can order 10 of each product if you split it up between digital and physical copies. /cheers

Is there any kind of expiration date on activatiing, and when I activate, how I do I do the refer a friend? Just create the accounts and petition a GM? Or do I create the 5 trial accounts using refer a friend then upgrade?

No expiration. Send RAF invites, then upgrade.

What Khat said. For Raf, set up the first account, activate, pay it, then go into account management and send out an Raf email for the next account. Make sure you are logged into the correct battlenet account before clicking the link in the email -or- be completely logged out of battlenet. The email link will instantly attach itself to your logged in account.

The purchased products are good forever. Use the keys whenever you are ready. I am saving my extra 5 accounts for a month or so until I have leveled my other accounts to 85 and have a geared booster to use.
