This heroic is hard as hell. My guys are wearing some 359 and 346 blue heroic gear. If you have better gear it should be easier. So far I have killed Tyrande and this is where you have to put your team. If you put your team here you can avoid the spinning ball of silence/damage. I am working on Sylvanas but I don't have the dps to kill the ghouls fast enough. The key to her is spread your group out then dps a ghoul and run through the opening. I need to work on my macros and buy some gear to help with that pain in the ass boss.

Yeah thats the setup. I think I am going to give up on these because my gear is not strong enough for these heroics. My dps is too low and the trash is owning me. SWT will be out soon so I will just wait for it instead of wiping a million times in this place. It's obvious bliz wants you in 370 gear for these heroics. 346 and some 359's don't cut it.

Hey pinotnoir. After buying 2-3 pieces of 378 gear last night on each toon except the mage, I went into End Time. I got Sylvannas and Jaina. They seemed pretty easy with my gear level (Avg 364/365 equipped). For some reason the armory isn't showing the 378 gear on some toons. Had one wipe on Sylvannas because for some reason if I have her selected when she pulls my team in, the assisting and macros break. The toons just stand there and do nothing. I use ISBoxer. So now, when she begins the quick summon, I make sure she isn't selected on the tank.
When the first ghouls spawn, I used Hero. On my last last Ghoul phase my mage was dead and barely killed the Ghoul in time. On the other phases, you can save your cooldowns/trinkets (EM, AP, etc). Right after you are dropped, hit your follow key, and drop your range a little in front of Sylvannas (I tap the back arrow key, which breaks follow on all the range) and then get next to the spawning Ghoul with your tank. Immediately when it becomes active, start your DPS cycle and tank the Ghoul walking backward. DPS with your healer as well, since you are not taking damage at that point. During the regular fight phase, I have the range grouped up and just use chain heal on the shamans when the team takes damage. The major damage dealer is the purple cloud crap that forms on the ground in a line under the group. When that happens, quickly use your strafe key that only broadcasts to the range, remove the echo debuff from a toon and chain heal/AoE heal. In your case, it looks like you have a priest, so AoE heals shouldn't be an issue. Since you have a lock, CoE should help compensate for the lower gear level.
The team I used was a Pally tank, 2 Elemental Shamans (Frost/Earth), a Mage (Kuromadoshi) and a Resto Shaman (Holy). Hope this helps.
PS. As for gearing up, all I did was brought my PVE team into AV weekend and converted honor to JP. Super fast. Doing it this way, you can pull at the right time instead of waiting for some other tank to walk halfway across the map. Same for Isle of Conquest.

My gear is lower. I noticed the targeting problem after the pull as well. I can do the fight but my ability to dps down the ghoul before it gets to me is a toss up. I just don't have the gear to do it. My dps are using season 9 weapons. The best I did on her was make it to the 3rd ghoul. If I had more dps I could kill her. I have the movement down just not enough dps. With SWT weeks away I don't plan on going crazy gearing up toons for heroics only to take a break and play SWT.
My gear equiped is - (some pvp gear boost the numbers)
Tank - 361
Priest - 354
Shaman - 358
Warlock - 360
Mage - 358

well SWT still 20 days away. So I think just get some 378 gears to bump my ilvl to be above 372 to queue for random raid.

Managed to do the whole chain of instances with a part of 360~ ilevel (non boxed).
I think the issue could be in the DPS you're slamming, whats recount showing? Anything less than 18k is meh.

I'm less than 18k. I am queing solo for my dps. So far got the lock up to 368. With the quest rewards and a few lucky drops I managed to upgrade several spots! I think he has 1 blue left.

To dove tail into this. Is the new gear up model ... grab some PVP gear + crafted + Firelands questline cloak to get into the solo queues for the new instances for questline gear, 1000 conquest/valor points and chance for instance gear? Seems the most efficient way to gear a team is to do the line + 2-3 instances solo then try to box it.

Here were my strats for what I've done so far:
Echo of Baine:
This is a DPS race, so I popped hero pretty early.
Put all toons on follow and blast boss at the edge of a platform near another platform to swim to. if a ranged DPS gets blasted off, swim him over to the next platform. Just cycle through the platforms.
Echo of Jaina:
Slaves at range (all my dps is ranged), and blast Jaina...When she does the frost blades, put all on follow to avoid them. When she does the flarecore, switch to that...rinse and repeat.
Murozond:
He does surprisingly little damage directly. I just put all slaves on follow and dps. Each time he marks for the bomb, move aside. You can pretty well kite him around for a while. Unfortunately you'll eat the breath, but it is heal-able. Use your tank on the hourglass last. Make sure you always leave a path for a slave to run off to the hour glass. Make sure that the initial positioning for the pull is the most convenient to immediately resume DPS on the boss. I found that follow works very well but it makes the fight take a bit longer.

I've done the first heroic with 10k DPS without issue. Other DPS was 15k and 19k. I probably got carried. Haters gonna hate.

i got smashed first time i set foot in EoT. I got echo of baine as my first encounter. I also wiped once per trash until the last two when i learned to just make the tank go in circles and down the seer first. So onto baine - can you fight him on the 'main' island? like where the trash are. I run 365 pally and shammies btw.

with 378 gear the fights are really a lot easier.
I spent 3+ hours on all three new heroics last night and was able to clear them all with the traditional 1PAL+4Shaman setup but I was in mostly 378 gear am I am certain that the fights would be different with I was at a lower gear level since a couple of fights I just barely survived. I would suggest to stock up on justice points and get geared first if you prefer a smoother run. =)

so 14-15k dps is about reasonable for this place.
I can't do it just yet. I got echo of tyrande on my try and couldn't dps her down in the last phase. Too much AOE damage, I am like 12k dps average at best.
once pvp honor gear open up next week, I think we can have an easier time at this place.
Anything random worth farming here ? like LK 5men's Battered hilt

Sweet dragoneye!
I successfully cleared all three as well last night. They are much more enjoyable than the 346 heroics and seem easier. Two weeks before the patch, I decided to work on completing all heroics except for the troll instances. I had only completed vortex, blackrock, shadowfang and grim up until 2 weekends ago. The remaining ones were pretty difficult, especially the first boss to HallsofO.
When I completed the three new heroics my avg ilvl was around 365 on all 5. Both times that I've cleared End Time, I fought Sylvannas and Jaina. These are easy. Wonder what Tyrande and Baine are like.
The DPS for the Mage and Pally are odd. Most of the time, the mage is 2k+ dps above the shamans. On this fight, the pally at 14K and the mage at 11k? Very weird. If anyone has any questions about strategies for the bosses, ask away.
Once you get the mechanic down for Murozond, it is so awesome. Heroism the entire fight. DO NOT cast anything until he finishes casting his 3 second Temporal Snapshot. He does this at the beginning of the fight. Pull with the tank, manually click your tank macro on your main, then when he finishes his cast, go to town on your dps key. This way, all CDs reset when you hit the hourglass. We are talking, class ability cds, trinkets, elemental totems, the distortion bombs, your position on the field after he finished casting Temporal Snapshot, Health, Mana and your ALIVE status, and Aggro. You can dps and kite around the hourglass till all your range/dps/healer are dead and then click with the tank..boom instant alive, cds reset, ready to go 4 more times.. very cool.
For Queen Azshara, spread out in a line. Interrupt Hand and her 10 second long cast. Having her set as focus with a cast bar helps to know when she is doing it. Boss Mods will announce, but seeing the cast is helpful.
For Archbishop, spread as well, but during phase 1, only 1 ball hits a player. In his shadow form/phase 2, three are created.. This is where it is important to spread. The ISBoxer, built in Line Formation macro is very helpful here. When he starts channeling the balls, spread the frack out by 6+ yards and right at the end of the cast, begin walking forward or backward. The balls will target a player where the player was standing at the time of the launch. If the Archbishop is a good distance from the range, then you can avoid the initial hit and possibly be out of range of the small void zone it creates.

Just wanted to post a little note for melee teams on Echo of Sylvanas. While DPSing her, try to spread as much as possible to avoide AOE damage, of course.
But when it comes to the ghouls, avoid using IWT. Line everyone up with follow and back step on your tank and step forward on your slaves so you break follow and are all stacked up facing the ghoul, then just use DPS abilities while slowly moving everyone backwards a step or two at a time. Using IWT more often than not turns the slaves in, so they end up backstepping into the purple crap instead of going in a straight line back towards Sylvanas.

I got slammed pretty hard trying to do them.. so I suggested to my partner about running my toons solo to gear them, and he said "What's the point running them solo to gear them, doesn't that defeat the reason to box & why would you want to run them once geared if you already have the gear?"
Have to say it made me think.

So far ive downed echo of tyrande and echo of sylvanas, tank i level 365, 4x shamans 378-380
Murozond: im constantly wiping on this thing, first i had my 4 shammies just strafe out of the aoe but i could barely get a cast off before he planted another AOE bomb.
Then i had them all on follow,,,this helped a bit, get about 10mil knocked off him before i wipe, but ive used all 5 hr glasses by then : /
Just kited around the hour glass, problem is theres hardly anytime to stop and dps, his breath knocks almost all health off everyone.
Then when i hit the hr glass i thought all his AOE bombs are gone but when i do theres about 5-8 still around the hr glass followed by another 6 withing 10 seconds following so im left with nowhere to run.
Has anyone put up a video of them boxing this instances? would really like to see how you did this

Got no video, but can try to describe how I killed him:
He is non aggro, use that to position your toons.
I have my tank to his right facing him sideways to the group (to avoid tail and cone AoE), my healer stands close to the hourglass to click it later on, and my DPS are at max range, far enough apart so they dont get hit by each others crap on the ground. Muruzond never uses his AoE shit on the tank, so you can forget about him if you use a castsequence (just have tanking cooldowns, lay on hands and stuff hotkeyed just in case).
I mostly try to keep my tank alive and my healer. I try to move my DPS toons and most importantly my healer out of the AoE stuff. Healer stays close to the hourglass, DPS moves forward toward Muruzond. I just switch clients and single move em.
Don't panic if your tank dies, just DPS till all toons except of the healer are dead, then click the hourglass. Taunt with the tank after a reset, place totems, hit bloodlust and start DPSing again.
With a bit of practice (2rd real attempt), I managed to kill him that way.
Before trying it that way, I tried the follow tank method, the cone AoE hurts... I also tried to have all DPS follow my healer, sucks badly too, cause they have to move all the time.

Now that AV weekend is over will focus on these heroics tomorrow and see how it goes.
Finally did it,,,after constant wipes on final boss finally got it down, was mostly due to dps losing target when on my healer, still got a little messy but finally went down
Just leaves Baine as the only one left to do in that instance.
Pretty much did it the way toned did,,,thanks toned, video helped alot :)

Ya that fight I recorded from my healer POV specifically because, that is the way I kill the boss. I drive with the healer and let the tank just stand mashing his rotation, and I have keybinding for tank cooldowns / lay on hands.

Those of you that have completed this instance, how do you handle the Tryande fight? I run with paladin with 3 elemental shamans and 1 resto shaman. The swirling ball of death keeps me silence and does tons of aoe that I cant keep up.
My dps is decent, its an average on 19k on each elemental shaman, but the closet I got him is around 50%

I use a Blood DK, Lock, Hunter, Ret pally and a discpriest.
With ISBoxer I have "ranged move forward(shift + w), ranged strafe left(shift + q), ranged strafe right(shift + e)" keys.
I drive from my healer and stay at 35-40 yards max ranged. When she does moonbeam I strafe left, next moonbeam I strafe right, When the silencing orbs arrive I move forward 5ish yards out of its pathing. When the next spawns same thing. When the first despawns and the third spawns I use my ranged follow key(Shift + F) and move back to max range. Rinse and repeat. Hope this helps!

My strat for Well of Eternity is: first boss drive from tank, while waiting on him to spawn I spread my toons out in a sort of triangle the center where I tank him. When he fel fire's one of my toons I see the switch targets on my tank, I switch to that toon and move out of fire, When he invis's I pop IBF and eat the eye as soon as it pops. Rinse and repeat.
For second boss I spread my ranged out in a kind of semicircle with at focus macro that strangulates the boss on total obediance. I face the three ranged classes kinda pointing in slightly towards eachother. This way when the hand of the servent spawns I can easily switch targets and no matter who is being targeted they are in los of my caster/hunter.
Third boss. Pain in the butt. Start on varothen when first Fel Firestom hits I have everyone follow my tank and just spam follow (hunter and ret break follow every attack.) When the fire stops I do my break follow key and pull him away from the ranged. Second Firestorm I do the same except I make sure I am close to where the subjugators spawn. Again drop off my ranged blow up the subjugators. kill varothen. On mannoroth I have a line in my castsequence macro that says /attack[@focus] or something like that, I am at work not on my pc. I drop DnD the second the portal spawns and then Right before Firestorm. I actually Aoe with my lock and hunter some on the boss and tank near the boss so the adds die faster.
Hope this helps.

For the third instance which I dont know the name of off the top of my head.
First boss. Pretty easy have all the ranged stand about 10 yards from the boss in a very small semi circle so they don't share the boulder damage. When he freezes everyone to the ground I mass dispell. The most important part of this fight is interupting hand of frost. My blood dk is blood elf so my rotation is: MF the first, Strangulate the second, Arcane Torrent the third, MF the fourth, Pally rebuke fifth and then rotate MF and Rebuke rest of fight. I have got it down now and I never let him get one off. During the torrent of frost I pop Inner focus and divine hymn and just finish him off.
Second boss: All ranged stand on top of one another preferably in totem. When there is 6 seconds left on the CD for choking bomb I move the boss out of the totem to roughly 30 yards away and move her back in the totem when she drops bomb. Rinse and repeat through the whole fight. I am constantly moving range into totem (ranged follow key map with ISB) and repositioning the boss slightly to account for the hunter.
Last boss is super easy all ranged stack at the top of the stairs just inside the lip of the bowl. When he does the purifying light I have all my ranged strafe left after cast they all strafe right if it was sent to them otherwise I leave them. Strafe out of the wave if its coming at them or reposition tank if its coming at him. Same for twilight balls. Ams with tank (if its on him he will be immune to the damage at first)and strafe right on ranged. Reposition, move as needed and its GG.

Okay so I got a minute while my wife is talking to her mom =).
End Time Baine: I start with my ranged on one of the platforms and my pally and my tank on the main platform. When Baine throws the totem if it hits a ranged I switch to their window and hit autorun key to get them back on the land platform, I then switch to a different toon generally the healer cause Its just easier and throw the totem back at baine. If he hits my pally with the totem I don't care because IWT will force him back on the boss and I hit baine with the totem on my tank. If he pulverize's the ranged platform I do a ranged follow and move them to the other platform slowly keeping the tank and everyone topped off. If he pulverizes the tank's platform I pop IBF and move him to the platform that my ranged are not on. Rinse and repeat. If they end up on the same platform I move them to opposite sides and finish him off.

End time Sylvannas:
I start by driving with my tank and once i get him positioned wherever I am going to tank here I switch to the ret pally. If you run a mostly ranged group ignore this and drive from the tank. If I let the Pally IWT the ghoul he will run behind it and die. First thing is her purple shot thing (sorry dont know the name of it) I ranged strafe out of that as soon as she jumps up in the air. when she sucks everyone into the middle I do an all toons follow then I take two steps and break follow under her so they are facing the ghoul I am going to kill. I kill the ghoul All follow and exit the purple aura of death. As soon as the ghouls hit her she fires the purple stuff again so make sure your moving your whole team when they get close. After that its just rinse and repeat and point the tank at her if he has his back turned.
