Using Kaspersky with Swtor Beta... something odd

anyone else see a keylogger activate every time starting SWTOR?

I got a pop-up at the start of the game AFTER launcher started. I traced the file to my swtor beta directory.... which I downloaded from swtor website like everyone else. Matter of fact, the file is even labled as swtor beta something. I take a picture of it this evening...

there is extra back end monitoring software with the builds for debugging and error tracing, kaspersky may be seeing that and reacting.

I thought so too, but wasn't sure if I was the only one. Surely someone else runs KLabs and may have advice. Because I'm not opposed to blowin away the file.

I forget which AV software it was, but at one time there was a post by a dev (possibly even a sticky) that at least one AV program was registering false positives on SWTOR.

Thanks, I'll go look for that. I did find a german thread posting about the same issue. So that makes me feel a little bit better regarding it not being an actual threat.
