My thoughts

Horde
Illidan
Kil'Jaeden
Magtheridon

Alliance
Kel'Thuzad
Tichondrius
Sargeras
Kil'Jaeden

Any other suggestions?

Right now i'm leaning towards Illidan for horde and Sargeras for alliance. I have friends on KJ horde but from what i've seen there aren't that many good pvpers on KJ and it is on BL battlegroup.

Come to alliance side of Kil'Jaden

Legion of Boom is our guild and you will be happy there.

Ive seen up to 70 toon on at one time, usually atlease 2 boxers on at all times

We are now raiding, and will be doing rated BGs soon.

Just do a /who Legion of Boom and whisper someone for a invite.

Hope to see you soon.

The Realm list in the Commons has numbers of characters and teams if you're looking for active boxers. Ideally people will keep listing theirs and this question won't need to be asked, because the answers will be there already :) If there's more information or other views that would be handy to have let me know.

WoW realms by score of submitted content on that realm: http://www.dual-boxing.com/commons/wow/aggregate/realms
WoW realms by votes on actual realms: http://www.dual-boxing.com/commons/wow/top/realms
(Vote on realms to encourage new players)

There is more to a realm choice besides the amount of active boxers. Some people prefer a busy over an empty server, some prefer a pvp server, some want a busy AH, others want to find a lot of PVE guilds to join in pugs, etc ... it's not only numbers.

I like the setup Lax. Nice job. Might have a few things to run by you to make it look/flow a bit better.

I'm honestly not concerned with having other boxers where I play. I honestly just want the best overall atmosphere in general, not specifically if there are more boxers to talk to.

Go crazy and start on EU

I already have new copies for US, and I don't want to return them and pay full price to play on servers with high ping >_>

I'd vote Kil'Jaeden Alliance as well. It's nice to have a bunch of other boxers to hang out with and people are very helpful.

We boxers can largely get along quite well solo, so any server would work, but there are lots of benefits to having a nice busy server with other people who understand the boxing mentality.

Do you guys win AV? I'm on Zul'jin>horde, and i have streaks of zero wins in a day ( several hours) It sucks.. I don't mind losing, but 50/50 would make me happy. If SWtOR does not hold my interest in the end game.I will be back in wow at some point ( going to finish a few teams in Rift first though ) If i come back.. I think ill transfer at least one team over to KJ. I would love to have my DKs be gnomes 8)

Umm, I've been playing with 300-500ms ping for 6 years now. It did get up higher. I remember raiding in BT and MH and Sunwell with 1200. And that was server wide. If I get 200ms, I am VERY happy.

Yea, I don't like to see people QQ over high ping in front of me lol.

And if I didn't have my brother and a few friends on Frostmourne, I'd transfer to KJ Alliance in a heart beat!!

Jesus, time to ditch that dial up man.

I'm in Memphis, I went from 120-200ms on Madoran US (Dallas at the time) to around 90ms-110ms on KJ (LA) Blew my mind I was getting better ping from a farther server.

Although I didn't get a chance to do a lot of testing, I will second this statement. I started up an EU trial
over on Outland-EU a few months ago and I was able to get 120-150ms (with possibly some peaking
near 200ms in the overpopulated Stormwind) from the midwest area of the states. I was immediately
blown away when I saw how low my latency was across an ocean and I would only urge anyone who
would like to attempt to play outside of their native country to start up a trial in their desired region just
to see what type of latency they can achieve.

Naturally, I would expect the possibility of latency spikes to happen more often (than would normally occur
while playing) outside of your own region. Some people also experience more latency for no apparent
reason when running more than one client and you're always taking a gamble that your ISP, paired up with
other ISPs across the ocean together, are going to give you the desired lower latencies 24-7 (which isn't
always true).

If I could ensure that I would always get 100-200ms across the ocean to Outland-EU I would probably roll
on that server in a heartbeat; however, I'm not sure I could take them all making fun of my American
accent and them constantly calling me an Amerifag... I'm kind of sensitive.

Ah yeah, Aussies get the short end of the gaming end. I understand Blizzards point of why they don't have AUS servers, but damn :/

If you were to use an ssh tunnel you could (most likely) achieve even better pings. SSH traffic often gets prioritized over 'normal' traffic. There are a couple of wow specific companies who offer this service for just a few $ a month. 200 ms going as low as 70-80 cross ocean, etc ... obv as you stated there are multiple variables who influence your personal ping. Myself I have a US account for a while now and I play on an east coast server (from within Europe) at 70/80 ms average, using my own tunnel. That is with only 1 account though.

In some of the guilds I'm raiding with we have some americans (they all happen to be from bloody texas btw) who prefer our raiding hours. And encounter mechanics where lag is quite an issue such as (twilight slicer) sinestra or (world in flames) on ragnaros heroic never turned out to be a problem.

Been playing 5years with an average ping of 400ms, it works fine.
A bit frustrating sometimes but didn't really stop me from doing anything.

meh am in the UK and can get lag now and again. (a lot of UK ISP use high QoS on there data.) to be fair its the biggest server in the EU English anyway its crazy fun there. (just youtube outland-eu) i sit on about a 150-550ms and it sucks.

Not sure how many active boxers they have.
