How do you guys suggest I go about doing this? my 5 new RAF accounts dont have any 85s I can use to farm them so is there really any other way besides farming JP or Honor once I'm at the appropriate level? Currently team is at 25 (one pally 4 warriors) and moving fast lol.
OR do I move an 85 from one of my orig. accounts to the new BNET once I upgrade them all to cata on black friday? I'd like to avoid this big of a payment to Blizzard as they already rape me but I guess it is what it is lol.
thanks

do you have any level 80's?
you can get some BoA gear from the Argent Tournament (http://www.wowheadnews.com/blog=80946/argent-tournament-guide), but that can take a month of grinding (IIRC) if they are starting from scratch.
Edit: Here is the vendor:

These accounts were started new with the new RAF so there are no 80s or anything on them lol.

I guess I could also try getting revered with my guild from scratch lol. Since I'm leveling this team through quests and dungeons it shouldnt be too bad...but it wont be for a long ass time lol

You will hit 85 long before you get revered. Remember there is a weekly cap to guild reputation.

If you need to invest more time in getting the BoA items then time they will safe you while leveling, why on earth bother? In other words, don't bother with BoA gear if it's not reasonably easy to get.
Besides, RAF and BoA bonuses' don't stack.

I know the bonuses dont stack, but my chars are poorly geared even with doing as many of the quests as i can. I dont want them for the bonuses but for the stats. I want to start doing dungeons but im too squishy for anything my level.

Just a suggestion. Maybe a fast way to level teams.
Boast accounts B,C,D,E with a 85 from your other accounts. Then gift levels to account A. I believe if you gift from C to B; B will have half those levels to gift to A. & so on...... You obviously won't maximize account A. But, you won't maximize A by questing either.
Just a thought. Goodluck

yea.. that was the issue I had with making a new RaF team. I knew that they would level so fast it would be hard to keep them in good enough gear to run LFG to level. My main Bnet was full. I had almost every type of BoA gear on another server. SO i put all that BoA gear on one guy ( you can transfer BoAs to any toon on the same server/bnet ) And transferred him to the new bnet with my RaF toons.
If you have max level toons on another server.. load one up and ship him to the server your RaF team is on.
Maybe you could try farming dungeons a bit below your level to get some gear before moving on. As your toons all use the same AC and it's quite a while before you get dedicated tank loot I imagine you'd need to do quite a few repeats of places anyway to get gear for everyone.
I've got one team without any BoA items and they are only now getting what I'd class as well geared (at level 35ish), it's a mixed class team so probably easier to gear and with 4 ranged probably easier to do runs with. You most likely won't be able to rep up your alts with your guild, my highest team is at 52 and they are still neutral (luckily they are the ones on the same server as my 85s), so I think transferring someone over will be the only way to get BoAs for leveling. If you can get geared through running lower level dungeons or purchasing a few cheap items off the AH then you might be able to get to the stage where you can do stuff at the appropriate level.
You might also be you need to play around with different ways of doing things (using stuns, kiting with hamstring, taunt rotations) to be able to get stuff dead. My second team had quite a bit of trouble on the last boss in SFK because I had no way to interrupt/remove the curse and was lacking aoe for the adds compared to my first team. I eventually managed with careful positioning and /target macros on the dps (also tried switching my tank and healer, but they didn't have the offspec gear to be viable) but there were a lot of wipes before I found a tactic that worked.

You will steamroll everything in vanilla regardless of gear. Remember this is when +10 to an item was considered hot shit. When you get to BC, it takes 90min to clear all the quests in Hellfire Pen and you will be completely geared for when you hit Northrend and the same thing will happen in the first zone there. Once you hit 68, all the Cat gear does the same thing and you will be on current content.
There is no reason to farm any gear until you hit 85.

+1, especially on the Hellfire pen part. If you're really lacking gear then possibly buy some gear from the AH or check wowhead. Sort items from your level obtainable by quest, then it might be worth it to do the specific questline that has a nice reward.

I have moved characters from one server to another and the boa's can go with them. I also have noticed that running bg's in volume accumulate honor points (turned in for heirlooms) or converted into JP's for heirlooms as well. You can also join a nomad guild (like hermits) that allow all to join wiht limited requirements and are usually upper level guilds (20+) and will get you reputation pretty fast as a full group for dungeons and bg's. My 2 cents. Good luck.

Good point indeed. After last night I realized how stupid it would be to farm BOAs. Yesterday on this team I went from 18-32 in a matter of hours just questing and then I boosted my hunter team from 20-30 in SM cath in about 2 hours. Once I get to HFP with any team gear is irrelevant when it comes to the quests so I'm going to continue questing on the pally/warrs team but the rest I'm just going to boost.
