Hi,
When 4.3 hits you can only get the new gear from Raid bosses, and not any more from VP.
If I understand it correctly the VP gear I've gathered will be the highest gear my chars will be in, since I do not wish to raid with other people. (few exceptions). So far I've failed to do/get in the mood to do any Cata raid...
The Raid Finder is 25 man, which sucks imho.
I was hoping it would be 10 man aswell, since I'd be able to give it a shot with my gf (also 5 boxes) or some other boxers.
Or am I seeing things too dark?

While I'm not entirely happy about the change myself, I can see the motivation behind it (need capable people to boost the morons in looking for raid, so they need to have a reason to queue: i.e. completing set bonus) . It's going to be your weekly icc 25 man pug again that clears 3-4 bosses, where a couple capable players boost idiots.
Either way, as you said yourself, you never raid, then why would you need raid gear? Of course I understand everyone wants to gear up as much as possible, but it makes a lot of sense to me: if you don't raid you can't get raid gear (which is partially true since there is still off set pieces, there are BOE's and crafted gear).

There will be non set bonus gear that is higher item level than whats currently available.. but no tier gear... just off set stuff.

Getting the gear like it has been since LK has made running dungeons much easier, and it makes it possible to at least try some stupid things like trying to 10box raids.
Even when I'd not be intending to raid, getting into a possible pug remains an option.
No gear: no pug etc etc.
While that may be obsolete now with the LFR..

I like this lfraid addition. I don`t raid anymore and I just want to see the content one or 2 times and get a bit of the story.

Little Necro threading here. Isn't there also some real ID functions coming to be able to cross-realm queue so some boxers on different realms can link up and have some low stress time. Most boxxers seem to have some decently geared toons and the coordination is handled internally to each team. I would think it would be a shoe in to get a few boxers together and hammer it out.

The best thing about this... don't have to pst ilvl and achv to get in. I'm looking forward to getting carried to some gear for my team 1 by 1. But tbh, I don't see this working very well unless the really dumb down the lfraid content.

Do you mean you need to kill bosses via the raid finder in order to get the full set ? I guess I'm understanding wrong.
Anyway my computer is not capable of handling 25-man raids (although i have no problem with 10-man - it was the same during wolt) so pugs will definitively be out of the question, no temptation for me.

Personally, I love the idea of the raid finder. Hopefully now I can gear up my slaves with less mindless repetition. I can only do ZA/ZG for so long...
Also glad that they will give the same amount of VP for all dungeons now.
