Dear Skyrim,

Will you please quit crashing to desktop when looting and bring me some hi-res textures.

Yours truly,

Crum

PS - if anyone is considering getting this game for PC, there are quite a bit of bugs floating around ranging from crashing while looting ( i got that one), some are having problems with their sound, where it will suddenly go really low, or become injected with static, and then it will crash. Textures are 512x512 (dont get me wrong it looks amazing, but there are no ultra textures). The UI SCREAMS - " I WAS MADE FOR CONSOLES". The modding community is hard at work.

Crums final word - Worth the buy if your willing to wait for it to be fixed. Else, get it on console.

If I get it, it will be on pc so I can utilize community mods.

same.. my PC gets here next week. I will prob wait for the first bug fix patch before installing it on my new rig. I have yet to play the BF3 campaign ...been loving the MP, even on medium settings. So I have shit to do while I wait for patches/mods 8)

yeah, i got it on PC for the mods. extends the life of the game quite a bit, and some people are pretty damn crafty with them

I'm just lucky, because the game runs perfect for me.

yeah, other than the looting bug which i am working around now, game runs fine for me too.

I still stand by my statement that its a horrid console port though. the textures cant be anything over 512x512 and for a real time shadow system, they sure do look terrible.

Game is amazing though, I can't wait for the mods to start coming out.

I'm a little disappointed. I picked it up for the PS3 and it looks like something from the late 90's. There is no anti-aliasing. Maybe people just don't see it, but I'm either doing it wrong, or it's a product of 1080p on a 143inch screen.

So for 24 hours in, I don't see a problem running the game. I crashed a couple times but I put it in windowed mode and it seems to run fine.

I have been having fun with Skyrim. A few random crashes, but I can deal with that. I got a wired Xbox 360 controller and have my tv hooked up to the pc. I feel like I am playing a console game and that is fine with me.
Three thumbs up!

I've had the game lock up 3 times on the PS3. Once when randomly opening the item menu, once when I zoned out of a shop, and once when I was just walking around outside. Sad for only my second real day of playing.

However, I did enjoy getting to level 20 in the first 30 minutes of the game by backstabbing that tutorial guy when he stops for the bear. 100 sneak and 60 one handed weapon for the win. First chest I opened in that mine by the first town had a glass mace. One shotting everything right now. Decapitation with a mace is awesome.

LoL starbuck. I did find a few unkillable npc's that I assume will let me level up like that. Having fun anyway.

BethSoft announced they will be patching the week after Tday (Nov 25). Fingers crossed.
