Mage PVP / BG

If you run 5 mage, tell me about it. BGs/Arena - tactics/setup.

I've been running AV @ 68/69 and it's been a blast!

I've got a cast sequence of Arcane Barrage, Ice Lance, Fireblast, AB, IL, IL, AB, IL, IL (trinkets+arcane power)
I have my normal DPS key to spam arcane blast, POM.

I have setup keys for firestrike and blizzard but don't use them (except for light shows)
I have a key setup for cone of cold, which I sometimes remember to use, then I have a frost nova/blink macro
I've never used polymorph in AV.. mostly I just cast my instants and almost 1 shot everything.

5 Mage great for protecting towers and balinda etc..

I've been thinking about frost mage, the tactic? freeze then spam ice lance? is it more effective than Arcane spec? How do you normally freeze? Water Elemental, Ice Bolt?

oh and any success in Arena?

i find fire a lot more fun when u get liveing bomb and the aoe u can oneshoot towers.

s soon as you hit 80 mages are gone though in bgs. (playing more then one)

when the mages hit 80 well 75+ they got one shooted by players in top end new xpac gear.

at 85 the same thing all the specs i find is without a healer (someone spam healing you) you going to get killed by rouges/deathkights/cats/warrios/frost mages (even if your frost)
to be fair all clasess in the game

unless you can hide and nuke dmg. as a boxer they see you and nuke u down as fast as they can becouse they know it be bad if they don't my 85 mages i will not take into anything but AV.

5 mages at 85 suck at pvp. No heals really hurts.
