79 Cata geared twink team

Uber geared twinks exist in most brackets, 15-19, 25-29, 35-39, 45-49, 55-59 and so on.

But nothing even compares to the bracket of 75-79, nothing is even close. The Cataclysm BoE greens and blues are better than ICC Heroic raid gear and you can use it against lvl ~75 quest geared people.

Imagine a team of 5 cataclysm geared characters at lvl 79 - I cant think of anything close to being as OP as this. Im tempted to level up something, should be incredible fun! =)

Problem is that you will lvl up to 80 with 10-15 wins. It just doesnt last long enough to enjoy it.

I've got a team (upper 50's) that was intended for the 70-74 bracket.
Got sidetracked with other teams, but the idea is still appealing.

One of the allures, is essentially best in slot gear (some Sunwell gear is comparable) from a weekend or so of battlegrounds.
And then your weapons/gear never needs to be upgraded; every new arena season makes your gear sub-par for maximum level toons, but at 70th (once geared) you always have equivalent gear to the most geared players and better gear than many.

Cataclysm greens would essentially be the same deal.
Most likely purchased over time, on the AH... instead of acquired through running BG's.
The best gear possible, without ever needing to upgrade it.

The 75-79 bracket precludes arena play.
In the 70-74 bracket, you can arena at 70th (and only 70th) if you want to.

I know the 70-74 bracket is very active on most battlegroups.
How is the 75-79 bracket?

For the last few toons I leveled up, I turned xp off at 77 and ran them through cata dungeons. They were so op I just played them 1 at a time. In one AV I had over 200 killing blows. The blue gear blows away even the cata green, so that you one or two shot everything. My mage was critting around 30k.
Very Fun, but keeping xp off was a no go, there just weren't any queues.

Lock xp?
Once you lock xp you only verse other people with locked xp... other twinks, in exact same gear as you!

Also, my 5 priests in my sig below are now lvl 70, and I will be twinking them to BG at 70 which is very active. They are in full pvp gear atm but I run sunwell every week when in Perth

I did that with a rogue. The level 70 honor gear (Brutal?) easily lasted her through level 77, at which point I started kitting her out in Cata greens. By level 78 she had 35k health, around 5000 AP and 50-55% crit. Rogues are pretty crazy in BGs at pretty much any sub-80 level (I was two-shotting people left and right in the 60-64 bracket in full honor gear), but the 70-74 and 75-79 brackets with the right gear were outrageous.

But yeah, it doesn't last as long as you'd like. :)

Do WSG and just HK farm, forget the flag, help lose on purpose, get barely any xp lol
