ele shaman pvp with legendary staff movie (non boxing)

Well, not really a multiboxing movie, but hope some might enjoy it since multiboxers tend to enjoy big numbers :D

Recorded some random bg's and low mmr arena games over the past few weeks and fooled around a bit in sony vegas for the first time. This is the result:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qB88ZU_4AJc (any movie feedback more than welcome).

First there is a rather long 'killing spree', then a couple of arena games (with holy pally in 2s, in 3s with hpally & mage), and finally some kill shots in wsg.

So, what's the staff doing?

It has a chance (http://www.wowhead.com/item=71086) (around 15% for ele) to duplicate a harmful spell. Which makes it kinda insane for elemental shamans (the mastery of ele is basically the same, a chance to proc a 2nd version of lava burst, chain l or light bolt, for free at 75% of the damage). So in theory you can have 1 lava burst go off 5 times in 1 GCD. There are various ele shaman mechanics that make it even more interesting, if the staff duplicates cl, lvb or lb ele can gain extra stacks of lightning shield orbs as well).

It's basically running around like rambo in bg's. The weirdest I've had was casting a lava burst, mastery procs and staff procs, and at the same time lava surge (a talent) resets cooldown on Lava Burst, after wich I use elemental mastery to fie an instant lava burst that procs mastery, got a full stack of lightning shield and it crits again. Which was 230k dmg in about 2,5 seconds.

Nice video, I was hoping to see lots of 40k + labs burst criticals but I guess resilience has killed that possibility.

Found a video on YouTube of a mage doing 100k + crits in arcane spec. He was one shotting the other team, could have played alone lol.

Ah, ok. I see it now. Looks alot like pre-nerf Windfury 2-Hander shammies.

Naw, i gave up on enhancement pvp boxing.... was too "hit or miss" pardon the pun.


Its funner in lower brackets where you can pretty much 1 shot casters, but as you get to 70+ its just not as much fun.
