By signing up for WoW for 12 months you'll get an ingame mount and a free digital copy of Diablo 3. :)

This is the link to the European offer which I just signed up for:

Annual pass is kinda neat. I figured "Hey, I'm probably going to be playing wow for the next year anyway, why not get Diablo 3 for free with it?"

I figure I don't want to be tied into a 12 month contact - i never know when I might quit next! :)

before multiboxing I was hoping for a lifetime subscription option, would be too expensive for 5 accounts i imagine :p

Great deal tbh, the beta access is also awesome!

Anyone taking it on mutiple accounts?

I just did it on one. I'm not sure I will be boxing in a year, also I don't want to box diablo so 5 games would be overkill.

I got in the van. Not sure why but I got in, lol. Haven't even friggen played WOW since Cata and I just signed a year contract. Ah well it's business. A guaranteed MoP invite means tons of content for my Youtube channel. Was going to buy Diablo 3 too so that's another savings.

Not going to stop me from playing SWTOR much but Blizz got my money too.

So is there any hard sources that anyone can point me to that says multiple free Diablo 3 for multiple annual passes? or is it locked into your battle.net account so it's more like 1 free diablo 3 despite how many wow annual subs we make? Just curious; and thanks in advance if anyone can point me to a link or article. :)

after doing xpac betas for the last 3, i think i'll sit out on the panda's. blizz is trying way too hard to get to the younger gamers out there imo. but nonetheless i've got too much invested to quit now, lol

Yeah, I'm lucky enough to have three battle.net accounts, But I'm only doing two accounts on the year thing. One for me, and one for the wife. (I still can't believe she is excited about D3, more than me even.)

Why on earth are they limiting you to 1 Diablo per B.net accounts?!?

Why on earth are they limiting you to 1 Diablo per B.net accounts?!?

The same reason you can only have 1 starcraft II account on each battle.net, they based both games on battle.net. WoW was based on 1 license = 1 account which was then ported to 1 battle.net = 8 WoW accounts.

You can quit the contract, you just lose Diablo III. That's what i read into the agreement before signing up. I just wanted the pony.

Yeah, I see this is a thinly veiled attempt to help stop the hemorrhaging of accounts post-Cata launch and into TOR. I mean, they get an A for effort but... Not feeling the pandas.

F9thRet

I can certainly respect those who are not quite feeling the Panda's , as Mosg2 put it, But the first thing that stuck in my mind, hearing the intro speech at blizzcon, was the whole bad guy , bad guy, bad guy, oh hell, we are all the bad guys.

Now bear with me, as I'm gonna go Nerd on you all for a moment.

I remember the holiday season, back when Star Trek the motion Picture, first came out, I was excited, Not only was the greatest Captain ever on the big screen, It had the director of The Day the Earth stood Still , assigned to it.

Granted, Looking back, it was a flop, but for the time, we had no new Trek in almost a decade, We where praising that film, and all it's Polyester brilliance.

Look at WoW Vanilla, Been a while since W3, and we loved it, It was new , and had some great minds behind it, Was it harder then? Hells yes it was harder, but it allowed us to join together with friends and families, Even if it took us an hour to kill Hogger the first time!

Then I look at Star Trek, TWOK and SfS. Intense, Major bad guys, Khan himself being the legendary that all other ST movie bosses are held to. IT was exhausting, True Adventure amongst the stars, with the loss of our dearest blood, and the rebirth of our dearest blood, in just a few short years.

As with BC and WotLK, Legendary Bad guys, and Arthas, the Khan like super man at the end, How clear the analogy appears to me now.

Then we had Cata, ok, major bad guy, but reminds me of STV, the search for God. Ok story, OK Premise, OK bad guy, but just missing something big.

Oh wait, I missed STIV: TVH. I remember the first time I heard about it, they are out to save some damn whales? What is this, Sea Shepperd in space? but I think most of us , look back fondly on it, as just a fun movie, A break from all of the tension given us in the previous two films. We got to see the crew doing what they do best. It was a much needed break.

That is kind of how I am envisioning Mists, A much needed break, with just some fun things to do. It's like after fighting legions of Demons, to Legions of Scourge, To a Dragon as big as legions, I get to sit back, maybe not take myself so seriously, and relax and take in the atmosphere of a brave new world.

They just better not screw up the expansion after that, as I'm holding them to STVI The Undiscovered Country's standards.

So, feel free to ignore my Nerd rant, hell I know I would if it hadn't been on my mind for the last few days, But that is just how one sole Okie who loves his Classic Space / Fantasy Opera kind of sees things.

An interesting point of view. Here's hoping it turns out to be as much fun* (or even close) as WotLK was.

Also, your "gonna go Nerd" comment made me think of the movie Tropic Thunder. To paraphrase: "Everybody knows you never go full nerd."

* Yeah, I know "fun" is subjective. /shrug

I hadn't thought of that film in a while Ugh, and now I want to go watch it again.

But yeah, Fun is Subjective I suppose. Then again, I suppose I have simple tastes also, I look back at all the energy I spent in College, to get a Masters, only to turn around, retire, and play with Cows all day.

Not going to take this offer from blizz, big chance that I´m going to cancel my 5 account when Diablo is out. So why pay for 5x12 month if i´m playing another game.

so has anyone done it on multi accounts for the mount?

hell the mount would sell for 15£ each in the shop and unless they stop us boxing am not going to stop. world PvP like WG is back (make your own groups with out times) . Since worldpvp has been removed from the game (buffing npc guards was a good way to stop it) boxing in pvp is boring. and now shammys are getting some nice buffs maybe we can see the old days back.

I will do it on my 4 shammy accounts the day after patch 4.3. you don't get the mount til 4.3 so no point just yet lol
