I have 5 dk's, LV62

pvp ive set them all up on unholy, they do ok.

PVE im curiouse whats best for like instances. maybe 1 blood, 4 unholy?

macros in need of badly. I cant seem to find any good macros for a multiboxing setup of dk's.

At that level is Unholy better than Frost? At level 59 / 60 / and 61.. I do ok. (granted this picture shows us loosing, but I was at the top of our faction)

at lvl 62 you don't have those spells, so the castsequence will lock or not fire at all. and for instances i always done 5blood but imo after lvl70 ur gonna need some heals. my pve dk team is lead by a hpally for that reason just makes it faster imo

Hey jstanthr yeah ive decided to ditch the 5th dk for the moment and put a pal in the group as well.

for the toons that follow ur main is ur main a dk or the pal?
im trying to figure out a setup for it. ive never healed before so its not going well lol. any addons?

up to lvl 80 i would make all the dk's blood. It takes a few sec longer to kill some mobs, but you won't get slammed trying to heal in those OHSHIT moments. at lvl 80 your gonna have to quest most of hyjal anyway to get your ilvl up high enough to be able to que anyway. but i done nothing but dungeons up to that point, and i gotta say they were cake. And beleive it or not, i still had some of the starter gear left by the time i got to violet hold. (finally broke down and got them some heirlooms) gonna finish them up this week hopefully i've been focusing on my mages too much, i gotta show my other teams some love, lol

Start running 4 DK's (Frost Spec) + Druid for PvP

This has worked really well so far.

For PvE instances i absolutely tear up the mobs. All toons are level 65 now and im able to take 4-5 mobs at a time in ranges 67-69 elites.
I did follow Mosg2's DK manifesto and Ualaa write up as well. I had to modify the macros a bit to the spells i have at this level and have tested it extensively.

I found that putting spells into the wow macro helper dropped my DPS output, so i went with the ( Do Mapped Key Action ) and stepped thru them like Ualaa's setup. It keeps the runes on constant cooldown and runic power burned up.

For PvE i kill stuff so fast ive had to move onto Northrend (Howling Fjord) to kill the constant waves of spawns there (level 67 elites). The healer has no problem keeping up with damage.

I lead the DK pack with the druid and use a Grid + Clique setup for doing heals. Grid has a custom layout addon, and for PvP it shows only your own group.

For me (after running multiple DK teams) it has shown that pre-70 blood is ideal as the scaling is just suck and Death Strike can outcrit Obliterate big time at that time, together with Heart Strike cleaving it's sick for both instances and leveling. At 70 and higher you should buy dual spec (it's cheap anyway) and make all of them frost to just make 1 spec back to blood for instances to make the healing easier. Frost generally started to do better for me at that point, both PvE & PvP.
If you want to do some BGs in between leveling frost is just rape compared to blood as people can't kite you at all and the Lichborn anti-fear + self healing wins.
