Can I AoE grind with 3 druids?

I want a break from questing and thought I would try AoE grinding. I read about using Swipe with a Lifeward enchanted weapon.

Swipe only has an 8 yard range. So I'm not sure how effective that would be with a line of druids. I haven't done any melee. I would have to respec from Moonkin so I want to get an opinion on how feasible it is to AoE grind with Swipe when 3 boxing.

If you prefer a specific method over efficiency, then try it out.

I think the main problem is gathering/finding enough mobs?

I doubt AoE grinding with more then 1 character is worth the effort to begin with. You could try this out with the boomkins aswell. See what the exp is like.

I have not played my druids since the end of wrath.. and i know they nerfed starfall.but man.. i LOVED doing quests with my 5 Boomchickens! You could run in a big circle and pop SF on one to gather them up. I would have all 5 hot the puller and pop the last 4 SFs and anything and everything died so fast it was scary! Miss that 8(

Anyway, it was never good for EXP, but was great for getting collection and kill quests done super fast hehe 8)

This guy says he can get 100k xp in 6 minutes at level 67. I'm new to WoW and don't know if this is still feasible. I've never seen that many mobs in one area before.

Yea they really nerfed the rhino grinding back near the beginning of wrath. I did aoe grind in deepholm with my mages for a few hours and it was quite efficient (treasure finding potion) got lots of good loots too.

I just finished solo leveling my feral tank druid just a few days ago, and the aoe is really great. On top of that you have quite a bunch of defensive cooldowns in bearform.

This could really work well to 3 box as swipe has no facing requirement. Once you get beserk & trash it gets even better. Spam mangle every 3 minutes and see the mobs just drop like flies.

The main strength of 3x bears is that swipe has no facing requirements, you have 3x aoe taunt if some toon is in trouble, you have 3 cooldowns and decent self healing.

Definitely worth a shot if you ask me.

Tip: there are some very good youtube videos and forum posts about where to aoe grind (I don't have links but google should net you quite some info). Worth it to research your leveling plan more or less beforehand, i.e. know the spots you will grind and from what level to what level. So you also know where to quest.

Speed makes generally up for that I'd say. Not only do you kill faster, you generally have less downtime as well. But then again, there are still plenty of good spots to aoe grind at certain levels. From 68 upto 85 one could easily aoe grind his way up if that's what you prefer.

I have been leveling as Feral, 78 before Hollow's End. Bear run and pull with Cats on follow. 4 Swipe will down most even lvl mobs. Swipe got major buff in the last few patches. It makes dailys really fast. Cats are better because no downtime with mana. By the time you get the next group of mobs you will have full Energy. 5 Rakes(Backstab?) will down anything. Run through with one Cat then spamming Rake, mob turns around to other Cats, turn around with lead Cat, mob does 180 once or twice. Dead! Loot, full Energy on next pull. Rake crits cant seem to take aggro from Bear. I only use Booms in dungeons.

I don't see why 3 won't be as effective. It just takes a little longer.

I'm confused. First you mention swipe and then rake. I don't see the point in pulling mobs and then using a single target spell like rake.
