All the engineering sample leaks that have been popping up around the internet for months now seem to
have been right. Intel still holds the crown so... expect no price drops on their CPUs anytime soon. :)

That seems pretty disappointing. It looks like the same story with the previous generation; very good CPUs for the price, but lagging just enough behind Intel that they probably won't be able to put any real pressure on them.

That's a shame, really. I mean, I have no desire to buy AMD CPUs for my machines but I love them for putting pressure on Intel to innovate.

I was hoping it would inspire Intel to get Ivy out faster 8( I'm going to building my next rig soon, was hoping for at least a price drop. oh well.. Ill get an Ivy Bridge in a few years. I'm going to have to go with Sandy 8)
