Is this specification able to multibox with 5 accounts?

Is this specification able to run 5 instances without problems?

CPU: P4 2.4 Ghz quad processor

RAM: 2Gb DDR3 (Possible to upgrade to 4Gb, should I?)

Video: Enforce 8800 Ultra 768Mb

S-ata 150 HD

I run on vista, never had a compatibility problem since I started with it and love it so far really. *shrug*

I'm considering going 3 accounts, and maybe even 5...

You should be able to run 5 accounts on that, although I'd recommend using 4GB+ RAM.

I ran exactly the same setup, and whenever i would enter like goldshire or outside IF with alot of people duelling at peak times, it would freeze, and i loose one or two of the acc's from follow.

Yesterday i upgraded to 4gb, and all runs smooth as it can get, so definatly take Wilburs advice on the 4gb, it makes a hell of a difference

I run 4 accounts nice and smooth everywhere except cities on a P4 3Ghz single processor , 2 Gig Ram, 7600GS card - so your rig looks like it could handle 5 with no probs.

I struggled to triple box with 1 Gig of Ram - since i upgraded to 2 Gig Everything has worked much much smoother - RAM seems to be the key factor ahead of processor or gfx card.

I have pretty much the same but an AMD and less ram.. so ill just ask here.
1. Do you have DDR2 or the old DDR?
2. Would it be possible to 4/5 box on a computer like this: (using winxp 32bit) AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (S754), 1.7gb DDR, radeon 9600XT? its 1.7gb cause i have 1x256, 1x512 atm (768mb total atm), and i could buy a 1gb so i dont have to buy a whole new computer and so on. I WILL be running everything on low on alts, and everything on low but spell detail on main, sound off.
Currently im able to 3box with a bit of lag / chopping, and id like to start 4boxing.

edit: also im not going to run any addons bigger than 1mb.

I'm runnning 5 accounts on:
e6850
3gb ram
8800gt 512
All account set to minimum settings.

I get around 30fps in org non peak and 20fps in org during peak hours.

I was thinking about adding a second 8800gt, but I only see it being needed for a raid.

I have to agree about the RAM, my experience indicates that 2GB is simply not enough RAM for 5 instances. Upgrade that and you're probably good to go.
