Hi all.

I am new to Dual Boxing and have a kink I need to work out. I am a windowed user running WoW twice on one computer. I have a dual core AMD running one monitor with an Nvidia 7600GT and 4gigs of RAM running on Vista. Currently I use Keyclone to send commands to multiple windows.

Everything seems to work fine until about 1-2 minutes into game (there is no set time though), at which time the toon in my alt window starts to run off. The best way to describe it is he has autorun on and it can't be cancelled. The direction is never defined also, he could be running forward, running in circles and so on.

I was wondering if anyone is running the same kind of setup I have and if they are, are they having the same probelm?

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

could be latency. is it happening in both windows? in other words, do you see him running away while on your main, but on the clone actual window, he is standing next to you?

it could also be that you did pass numlock (cruise control)... try adding numlock to the 'do-not-pass' key list

let me know if that helps.

Thanks for the reply Rob.

It is happening in both windows which lets me know its not a latency issue. I also have numlock on the "do-not-pass" key list.

One thing I am doing is running WoW from the same .exe. I'm gonna try and make copies of it when I get off work.

I have had that same exact thing happen to me a few times. Some characters would go around in a circle, others would keep on running, even when I went into their screen and tried to stop them. I run my .exe's from separate folders.

I thought a GM was toying with me:)

weirdness. do you have your arrow keys on the 'do-not-pass' list and just have your clones /follow <leader> ?

I put all the movement keys on the do not pass list, WSAD. Never used the arrow keys. I bind 4 as their follow macro. When I want my characters to follow, that's the only key I hit. It works for hours on end, then all of a sudden a few toons(not all though) will go off exploring on their own, circle dance, etc.

i've only seen that behavior when i had bad packetloss and/or high latency. like they just never said 'stop'... but as soon as my internet got better, it was fine.

If you press a movement key down and move off synergy or somehow not get the movement key up, the game figures you are still mashing it down. Happened to me once in Org with all 10 when I was setting up my X-keys.
