Unholy DK - PVP

I'm thinking about trying this out - tonight perhaps. 4 x Unholy DK and Paladin.

Has anyone had fun with them, PVE or PVP?

It will require much more micromanagement than frost to watch your pet procs. Without the micromanagement unholy is pretty much useless compared to frost.

Pet procs - that's not something I'm familiar with.

I've read so far that 5 x Coil and you can go TIMMY on their arse. I guess you'd spam that repeatedly so it'll activate when it can.

Very interested in what you find out.
How far are you going to go with the build. All gems and reforging not just changing spec right?

Let me know as I am looking to try this as well but have just not had the energy.

this weekend then perhaps! :)

I took a shine to PVE last night doing a few cata instances, sadly not heroic. So I might be more interested running Unholy DK for PVE now - but I'm a DW'er at the moment and I won't be changing my gear quickly! :( not when the blue 2h I have isn't much better than the 1h epic (on it's own) I have now.

I'm really struggling for ideas to get gear in which to do heroics.... the more I do pvp the more 371 epics I get, and the harder it is to replace them for PVE use :) I suppose the dk I run blood with should at least have tanking gear dodge/parry, but it means going from 371 to 333 for now.

I've currently got a setup for Blood/Frost and I'll add Unholy to it.

It then becomes a case of adding the DK's to the correct action group and it works for them! so you can even mix and match.

I'll give you a link when I get home and then update once I've added unholy.

i've only tested it on dummys and i'm getting 10k dps.. so off to try and instance!

i'll probably add a reset on target disease applicator macro ..still working it out now.
