Was wanting to know a few things about 10 boxing. I'm going to RAF it all.

what to choose, I was thinking of
10 Locks..... would be fun for instant dots and pets. (Good PVP? ok PVE?)
8 Shams,1Pal,1Priest..... totems,healz, (Good PVE & PVP?)
10 Mage's...... Clones = 50 Mage's (lol)..... AOEs and I don't know what else.

Game Masters - I know Multi-Boxing is well known now, but would a 10 boxer be more at risk then a 5 boxer?

Dungeons - What is the best way to take 10 toons and level them all equally?... I'm assuming just quests as 2 seperate groups?

any thoughts suggestions opinions or ideas would be appreciated.

I did mine in two seperate groups, did 1 pally 4 shamans, then 1 shaman solo
then dk, mage, priest, druid, lock in the second then put them together.

All of your groups will work for pvp, but the second group would be good for pve, espically if you took out a shaman and added anther tank.

But as always, play what you like, whatever is fun for you

Not quite sure what you mean by this, but since multiboxing is not against rules I don't see this being a problem?

Locks are fun but a bit squishy. If you want fun pvp with insane damage go 10 marksman hunters. Multi-shot = many dead people. 5 marksman hunters took out all 10 of my shaman in AV once. I went down quick.

8 hunters, 1 priest and 1 paladin! Turtle in AV = win

Four characters following a leader and working in unison won't seem much different to another player than nine will. GMs will typically only get involved if you are reported by another player, so there shouldn't be any difference between 5-boxing and 10-boxing.

Mage teams seem to be the flavor of the month right now. It's a fun group, since they can pump out a lot of damage and sustain it pretty well and keep PVE mobs occupied with mirror images. I'm not sure how well it works for warlocks, my limited experience (leveled one to 85, am leveling four more which are at 61 now) says that warlock DPS can out-aggro the pets too easily for dealing with PVE bosses. For PVP, a group of warlocks sounds pretty awesome. Wasn't it Xzin who had a warlock team? Watching a mob or player's debuff window light up never gets old. Five DoTs... ten DoTs... fifteen Do-- whoops, dead!

Xzin had a priest + 4 mages, i never saw a warlock team, it sounds good for pvp, but no heals will hurt, i'd trade out a lock for a priest at least personally, but to each his own.

awesome guys. it definitively sounds like i should make a 2 Priest + 8 Mage and or 8 Lock Team
Hunters does sound crazy... but i'm more of a fan of magic classes.

Ill be making this on Kil'Jaden Alliance I sapose.

and sorry for the poor question of the Game Master it just sounds like the bigger you go with more toon the more its noticed and condemn. just wanted to be sure no ones had a issue with a gm before with 10 boxing. I figure Kil'Jaden is a safe zone with lots of boxers on that server im sure the GM is well aware of us.

For pvp, I would do 8dks 2 healers. 8 Howling Blast cant go wrong!

For pve, I would do a mixed team. Less wasted loot.

i been playing 10boxing warlocks on the ptrs and they are so fun, i been talking out 15-20 gladiators in the STV arana and you sould see the AOE (ok they res and nuke me down again after my cooldowns are on cooldown)

5 locks i can not solo any of the 25 man bc raids not tried the 10 yet.

The only prob is to get warlocks to work is there so many keys u need...... so adding a healer is going to be nails trying to find anyone keys. very fun group hard to master.

if your looking for a nuke town then its the death Kights nothing can be easyer to get as automated as them.

This is a random side question... but has anyone successfully 10-boxed any cata raid stuff?

I haven't seen many threads made recently about it. I'm still getting my 5-man heroic practice in while leveling my other 5 accounts... but it would be awesome to know anyhow.

I tried pvp for the first time recently and didn't do very well.

I personally would not recommend doing just one team.

I'd RAF link five accounts.
If at all possible, have a booster on account A.
Someone at higher levels, who can take and deal AoE damage.

Link the accounts:
A > B > C
A > D > E

Use A to boost four toons on BCDE.
Which then allows C/E to give two toons to B/D.
And B/D each give two toons to A.
Then B/D each give another toon to A, because of granted levels received from C/E.
For a total of:
A: 6x Characters (plus the Booster)
B/D: 6x Characters
C/E: 4x Characters

Then repeat the process, with the second set of five accounts.
Probably transfering the same booster to the new account A.
With ten accounts, you'll need a minimum of two Battle.Net accounts.
Just make sure the "A" account in both sets is on the same B.Net email, so you can instantly transfer the toon without wait times.

Having four combinations will be superior because that is more options.
You never know what will be fun to play down the road.
Or what will be changed/nerfed and become less fun to play.
You have a few aspects to consider, and can specialize teams for each... BG/World PvP/City Raids, Arena PvP, Instances/Heroics/Raids, Questing/Farming/Tradeskills/Gold.
