Picking up gold

Currently with a 2 box team I run in Free for All to pick up loot. I'm planning on picking up 3 more accounts when some more memory arrives so I can run dungeons "solo". My question is, is there a faster way to use my slaves to pick up loot such as using interact with target to make them all pick up from different corpses at the same time? Mostly I'm just concerned with the gold, but items in cata would be nice later on.

Not really. I just set it to "Free for All" and loot with my main.

You can use interact with target to make the slaves loot, but this takes about the same amount of time.


I really wish all loot will be automatically be place in your bags. Running low level instances for materials, looting is the longest part.

To some degree you can IWT and round robin. I do this skinning, note it looks crazy and people will quickly try and report you for botting.

If you are doing a collection quest or have a slave that skins, then using an IWT -> all others is really useful. Loot with your main then IWT with the others until they have all looted, then keep on truckin'. Otherwise just loot with you main and give them the big bags first.

Edit: IWT is very useful for mounting vehicles. Target the vehicle and IWT- > all and everyone mounts the vehicle and starts following again. Argent tournament is a great example where this is useful.

Personally, I just loot on my main and trade to my slaves if my bags start to get full. Unless it's mobs that drop quest items. Those I use IWT and have my slaves loot first while my main pulls the next mob. I also run melee slaves...half the time they end up looting on their own because of IWT.

You can also try using mouse broadcasting to loot, but I only find that efficient if I'm standing in a pile of corpses.

i find mailing things helps keep things organized if you have all toons with different professions.

I Send all cloth to toon A and all ore to toon b and all BoE to toon c, etc). as well as clears up inventory space for all until you have the time to actually use the stuff. plus you can do 15 ( i think?) at a time than having to trade 6 at a time. With guild perks, it's also instance and you can do it when you need to inside instances, etc.

You can use Jamba to trade too and repeater to accept!
