I always include in these attack spells [harm,nodead] and the item use, racials, etc a [combat]. This seems especially true for rogues. If you are always button mashing to go into stealth when out of combat, you can [nocombat] your opener as well.

I ended up dual-specing and tried combat again and wow, I missed killing spree! In BGs I think this is the right spec. At the top of the damage list fairly often due to FoK and KS. Mostly suicide missions, though. :)
