I've been trying to research specs for warlocks and whats best for a 5 man multibox team. I have gone demo on my one team i've started, but currently they're only 60ish and I haven't played the team in a while, but the warlock has always been 1/3 the dps from my mages. I am joining a warlock to a team on a different server and I have a warlock at level 60 that has been parked for a few years, and now he's suitable to add to the team I want to level. Any suggestions on spec for best dps in dungeons?

I would like to know too, as I just moved my last RAF lock (60s) to my multibox server and I want to add it with a team of either shammy or mages...

My experience is that on trash, warlock dps is lower than for example mages, but on bosses it rivals(almost) arcane. I use Mercurios macros from the macro forum, modified a bit to get the timing right based on my haste, and added shadowbolt to get the debuff from shadowbolt. Think my warlock (demonology) was hovering between 15-20k on Corin a few days back.

The only think I haven't been bothered with is to figure out a "burst" rotation to use on trash where stuff dies too fast to use some of the longer casts. Basically making two key maps in ISBoxer one with trash and one for bosses. Mercurios macros tries to solve this, by basically not casting curses, corruption etc. as the first steps in the macros(which would give a boost on longer fights, but is a dps loss on trash). Which is an idea I've taken into account for my other macros too.

i follow two rules for a lock...
for trash, direct damage, like shadowbolt
for bosses, dot them up!
my lock does roughly 75% the damage of my mage, but he does come with alot of utility, so it's nice to have one around.
