Ok maybe its just terminology i'm not used to .. what exactly is boosting?

I've used my level 70's before to run through some instances and such.. but what exactly is the dynamics of boosting?

PC speak for power levelling...and PC doesn't mean Personal Computer ;)

It means leveling lower-level character(s) using a higher-level character to do the heavy lifting. In WoW typically it means running through instances killing lots of mobs, or completing quests for the lower level characters.

If I'm not mistaken, the term comes from Xbox Live, and is used to mean getting somebody to join a game on XBLIVE so you can cheese all the online achievements...or at least that's the first time I'd seen it anywhere.

Kinda funny thing, "powerleveling" is considering by kids to be an "old man's" term, or so I was informed. Darn kids these days! /shakes fist

But yeah, basically means PLing.
