Hello all boxers out there. I have a problem with my play style. First i started boxing with 3 shamans, but realized that didn't make much sense.. at least not to me, so i bought 4th account (in total i have 5 accounts) i got all 4 accounts on Raf and i have 4, 51 level shamans. The problem i have is the positioning like when i played 3 shamans i could easily use strafe to left or right etc, but now i cant figure out anything that would work  So what i am trying to say is that many multi boxers use to make slaves to strafe to left or right to form a shape of like a pyramid or anything where i can see all my slaves clearly. Any ideas?

wow, you're an...dammit, this is the newbie forum. okay, nice face.

Have you thought about Strafe Left/Right, and having the last slave stepping backwards for a diamond?

Nobody said multiboxing was easy, it requires crafty thinking. Sooo, get creative by whatever means and boogy? By all means, look to others for inspiration, but don't expect them to do all the work for you.

This is multiplexer 101, and is often called 'movement keys'

I dont know what multiplexer you are using, but what is going on typically is this ... when you physically press a key on the keyboard there are two instructions sent to the computer 'KEYDOWN' when you press it down and 'KEYUP' when you release the key.

People that have a 'all spread out in a cross' press a key and hold it down and a short time later release it. When the ke ywas depressed each character received a different key, the end ones might have gotten strafe left and the other strafe right, the other two got move forward and the last was move backward. Each of the slaves that was moving was pressing their special movement key while the physical key was pressed on the multiplexer. So this might be the center of the numpad for example.

The 'all move' keys are similar, though all the slaves move the same direction, so if you press up on the numpad all the characters will move forward.

Your multiplexer should press the key at the same time for all characters, if it doesnt likely you want to make sure the release of the keys is in reverse so they aren't staggered a bit when you move them time and time again.

Also you want to have follow strobing turned off obviously or they will just autofollow again after being moved.

What software do you use?

If you use isboxer, there are some premade formation keymaps that come built in - you just have to map them. There are a lot of guides on these forums that talk about this.

Just do a search for "Formation" on this site.

Or check out this guide.

(Or look at the post above mine - much better at explaning!)
