Has anyone successfully completed a level 50 dungeon yet 5 boxing? If so, what is your team makeup and strategies for doing them. So far I haven't been able to beat any boss yet with my team: Tank-Riftstalker/bd, 2 bards/mm, cloro/pyro, cleric-warden/sent. Any little bit helps :)

My team just turned 50 as well and I have started 5 boxing the lvl 50 dungeons ( AP & CC )
My issue is my DPS is low and my cleric doesn't have a lot of healing to do as my chloro can pretty much heal my tank through a battle, so, i am considering moving the cleric to a DPS role, or, leave the cleric healing and switch chloro to a full on DPS build.
You need to be able to watch for the AoE attacks when the boss emotes and then move everyone out of the way. This is still taking me a while to get the hang of but managed to get the 1st boss down in AP last night.
My tank is a 51 spec Void Knight with points in paladin and warlord for the extra block and extra armor.
Here is a link to cichard's 5 boxing videos for regular and expert dungeons, so, yes it can be done. :)

Finally did my first 50 dungeon with my 5 man box. Did Charmer's Caldera after watching a video on youtube that made it so simple :)

I just hit 50 this weekend on my last rogue (a week before that on the other 4) and I've completed normal Charmer's Caldera and Abyssal Precipice. My rogues are ranger/bard/nightblade spec (http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0MciN.VI0VVVco.Vhh.EG0c0bos) and I just spam cadence with either coda of fury or coda of restoration depending on how the pet health is doing. Stupid easy if you're careful with pulls.
I'll post a video of the Charmer's Caldera runs if I get home at a reasonable hour. ;)
[edit] NOTE: I'm not using a tank. My pets tank everything.

Nice!
Going to try CC again tonight as I have respec'd my cleric a bit and upgraded a few green pieces of gear. :o
<Also, runs off to create 3 more rogues.>

There are a couple of pulls in there that I suspect will be difficult or impossible in expert mode using the pigs as tanks, though I could be wrong. I've yet to run an expert rift or dungeon so I'm not sure how the damage scales.

Getting better at this. The key i found is to suit up your guys in the best crafted gear you can get. Able to do Foul Cascade in expert mode pretty easily except for Queen at end. Get her down to bout half health before my group succumbs to her and the adds. Think i need to add more AE heals but mana doesn't last long cause its a long fight. Changed my group to WAR pali/vk/war, 2 ROGUEs mm/bard/nb, CLERIC ward/sent/cab, MAGE cloro/pyro/storm.

Take a look back through the older posts in the Rift section here, I think it was Alemi who cleared every lvl 50 expert dungeon with a Cleric tank and 4 mages.
I'm leveling this group right now for myself, and completely cleared Foul Cascade last night at lvl 29 + 30. I also already have a warrior tank and healer cleric to sub in once these guys hit 50, so I plan to play a couple comps to find what works best for me. So far I much much much prefer warrior tanking, so many more tools than the cleric has... just my 2s.

I am getting pwned at level 30 in Deepstrike Mines, it just seems my warden healer cannot keep up with the incoming damage on the pally tank. What am I missing? Team is pally tank, fire mage, ranger/mm hunter, cabalist cleric and warden cleric.

Sounds like the pally doesn't have the..."hardness"(?) points in the right souls. There are some talents that are almost a must and that make your tank much less squishy. Unfortunately, I've never run a paladin in rift. Check this link out. Might give you some ideas.

Can you link your build using Zam?
I might be able to help as my tank was pally/reaver/warlord up to level 50, now I have been experimenting and at the moment he is 51 point Void Knight with points in Paladin and Warlord for the extra Armor and Block.
My problem is my ranged rogues DPS is sucking majorly.
Specc'd as marksman they are doing ~250 DPS
Respec'd last night as Rangers and with the pet out they are between 350 - 400 DPS but I believe it should be more in line with 700 - 900 based on Cichard's comments about his rangers doing ~700 DPS single target in blues @ level 50.

So I have attached a screenshot of my tank with spec and stats displayed.
Maybe it is my warden healing strat that is not correct? From what I have read, wardens heal like druids in WoW but it seems with my warden when my tank takes a hard hit I cannot get a big enough heal on the tank to get her topped off and then the next big hit kills her.

Do you know if it's magic damage vs. physical damage causing problems?
I'd swap out Reaver for VK for the 5% magic damage reduction straight out, personally.
Also, playing a main healer on a single toon, I can tell you that Warden doesn't have a lot of "oh crap" buttons even at level 50 (spec'd to 44 warden). But, the need for big heals is significantly reduced by having good HOTs going. If you're not tied to the warden healer, then I'd swap it to sentinel. My experience with the two is that sentinel is a lot easier to heal, takes less micromanagement (don't need to monitor when the HOTs are going to go down, etc.), and has more "oh-crap" buttons.
In the long term, I'd look to adding at least 11 Justicar for the Cabalist spec'd cleric, so that you have access to DoL as another "oh-crap" from that cleric, plus additional passive healing.

Cool, all good advice, I will try swapping out Reaver for Void Knight and also Sentinel healing to see if that helps. I really think at level 30 I should be steam rolling through Deepstrike Mines lol

I will comment that I have yet to do a non-expert dungeon in Rift (read: I don't have experience at sub level 50 with 5-man content really). I 3-boxed to 50 on warriors, then rogues, and now clerics. I then went pretty much with a solo character to expert dungeons and have t2 gear to tank/dps/support on them. But for a mixed group setup like yours, experience with a single role should translate well, I'd think. G'luck!

If you're looking for ideas on Warrior tank specs, I would point you to the link in my sig... Ciderhelm's builds have been working really well for me so far.
I've seen many people suggest having a pure healer + a support healer spec to help cover each other. My group now is 3x Chloro spamming their faces off with Lifegiving Veil up x3 and Bloom for the tank on round robin via ISBoxer. I still die on the tank or even wipe the party a lot, but I blame that on spotty internet lag - my heals are fine.
FWIW, I was facerolling Deepstrike Mines around lvl 25, and cleared Foul Cascade completely at 30; and I'm now facerolling FC at 32.
Posting this while DL'ing 1.5 ftw. :)
