Rated Battlegrounds...How are the boxers doing.

Just wanted to see what others are figuring out in regards to strategies when boxing in rbg's. I looked around in the forums but no one has written much about them. I have started playing them this season and have had great luck but it seems like many people haven't played with a boxer and it requires special strategies.
What have you all experienced when playing them?

I have yet to even try. A few people in my guild really want to try it. However, even today, we did a WSG, got my team of 5 + 2 guildys in there, faced a premade team (I assume the team does RBGS), and got destroyed.

For me, I just don't have the patience. Part of boxing was because bg's were so frustrating, and now having 5 makes it much easier (most of the time). I rolled with a pvp guild in vanilla, and that was a blast. I just havn't found enough pvpers I really want to solo pvp with.

I may give it a shot with 5 guildy's. Dunno yet.

Gear and setup play a huge part with the BG's period. I would recommend making sure you have every piece and everything gemmed and enchanted before even stepping foot in the rated bg's.

What made me start was once my team of 4 dks and a paladin healer didn't lose a regular bg for weeks. Whatever happens in a regular bg be ready for it to be twice or three times harder in rated ones.

We have (as you may have seen) started to do some RBGS in my guild and its been successfull so far. Atm we are just facerolling WSG and Twinpeaks, with a bit of strugle on maps like AB and Battle of gilneas.
Will probably se diffrence when we increse rating against 1500+, il keep you guys updated on our progression :)

Since they are RATED battlegrounds I would imagine so.

Actually, I don't know about this season but last season my RBG team were all 1400-2100 MMR and we found that no rating was lost until about 1.9k rating with the exception of one unlucky druid with 1.4k MMR who did and was baffled that those of us around 1.8k were not losing any.

We do lose @ 1200 rating, bitween 2-5 rating per game, and win bitween 80-120. Should be chill.

I have a 4 dk team that runs with three healers and the rest are cc. We are 1900 and we gain and lose around 15 pts when we do rbg's. The hardest thing is finding 6 other good players that understand how to play with a boxer. I find the better the player the easier it is. The worse the player the more they complain.

The hardest map is AB. It is hard to run from base to base constantly. You have to have a very vocal team that calls out incomings.
