Hey all,

I've succesfully grinded all the way to 70 with my priest/lock duo and used shadow/affliction to dot-kill many mobs at a time. But now I'm trying to do some arena with this duo and I was wondering if anyone has experience dual-boxing this duo in arena. The two possibilities in my oppinion are either shadow/affliction and use Unstable affliction as a dot protection to dps and mana burn/drain. Or I can mimic two seperate players and do the disc/holy + SL/SL spec wich would be a new spec for me to master. The disadvantages of the last spec is that I think it's harder two play as both characters will have different roles(1 dps and 1 Heal/dispell). I can't try this out atm cuz i dont have descent pvp gear atm, and would like to know what spec my priest will be before i gather either shadow dps gear or healing gear :D.

Thanks for any input!

Well im a shadowpriest and i did arena with a UA lock.

Id go with that personally because dot protection means you can nuke down 1 player pretty quick, and going with an outlast build would require kiting, which isnt easy with 2 chars. Not to mention that if a match lasts too long youre bound to get feared or CCed in someway that screws you up.

Thanks for your respons Boxer!

I'm thinking i'll try that first then. Will report back when i get some gear because atm i dont stand a chance vs 1500 rating teams :D. However I'd appreciate other responses from other dual boxers that actually play both warlock and priest before i spend all my honor points on shadow dps gear instead of healing.

Have a good day

I would stay with shadow. with shadow weaving and mindflay you should be able to burn down healer and dot them down with caps. if you are facing a rogue or hunter you need the shadow form to reduce damage intake. another option is to get rings and and other healing gear, (mace) and still have some good dps on nukes.

Shadow Priest / and Felguard lock is pretty popular, although SL/SL and UA would be just as good. I'd try out all the specs and see which one you enjoying playing the most and try to excel that way.

Felguard spec'd with shadow burn + full shadow is pretty nasty DPS. Pet + dots + shadow bolt/mindblast followed with an instant shadowburn+shadow word: death combo.
