Fraps Crashes WoW

I recently downloaded fraps so I can start recording but I was crashing and crashing WoW too. I read up on the issue and figured it might be an older version so I purchased the full version but it still crashed.

I have a quad core CPU and assigned separate cores to each WoW client as well as fraps with the same results. I also have a SSD that I run WoW on and am recording to my hard drive. I have tried recording without sound and at half size but it still crashes.

I did also notice that it also crashes my game even when I close Fraps. Have any of you seen this before or know of a fix?

nerver close Fraps it crash the game changeing chars sometimes will crash the game as well.

its been doing this since cata. :( not sure ifits wow or fraps or windows or put them all to gaver and u get this.

Thanks for that info. Now I just have to figure out why it is crashing. I'll take a better look at the message I get and post it as well.

Strange. Use it all the time, never had any stuff like that happen.

Are your vid drivers up to date?

Now that I know closing fraps crashes the game I see that it isn't crashing the game but instead makes the mouse ultra sensitive and my camera swings around. If I accept the crash message it then shuts down the game.
