I recently joined the world of streaming Multi-boxing.

I know I'm one of the newer guys, but during the hurricane this weekend, I still had power and no work, so I came up with a little theme for it.

My thinking is, if I'm going to have this expensive hobby - I might as well try (even if I fail) to do something good with it by attempting raise money for Charity (Child's Play).

I actually haven't put TOO much thought into streaming and what not, but I was thinking it would be cool to add other broadcasters to this channel if anyone wanted to get behind this idea.

Thoughts? Or just Watch? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

I eventually want to get to 10 boxing, and possibly trying to do "pledges" for clearing bosses. Not really sure I have the industry contacts to do that, but either way, i figured at the very least watching me fail is somewhat interesting =P Not really sure.

Thanks all!

Your stream is nice and clear. What is your upstream?

2500 I have it set, but xsplit is showing 1000-1200?

It would jump from from 900-2200 on average.

[edit] Streaming is fun! Would love to have multiboxers join the stream so it's not always an empty vid when I'm not streaming! I have to figure out why it's not saving my vids after streaming though.

Streaming again (2nd try) - is there a better place to comment on this? I don't want to keep bumping up general each time.

Also - is it bad etiquate to announce you are streaming? Just curious.

Stream looks good. not bad taste to announce your streaming you'll actually get more viewers that way... better than guessing.

Also the way you are looting looks tedious. You ever try moving main toon near object enable broadcast clicks and have them all select the item? that way if one already has it another will get it. Little faster than breaking lead everytime you want to loot.

Heh, I'm going to try to break that habit. 80 + levels plus all the 60's I leveled when I started RAF, will take time to break it.

The other problem I was having is I have the other 4 viewports pretty small, so I wasn't really able to see the cursor change, but I changed it to make ti a bit more clearer.

It doesn't help I recently changed UI's and screwed up my quest tracker, I meant to fix that before streaming. =/

Ahh, yeah it totally depends on if you can see your other screens. If you cant it will be easier just doing what you were doing. but you are right... collection quests suck :)

Well, I just figured out I can record my streams and use the site like youtube (duh!).

I have decided I'm going to go with a FAIL / SUCCESS Video format, where I'll record my attempts at instances, and just document if it was a fail or success. Since I'm not the best multiboxer, I imagine i'll have a lot more fail videos. Who knows, maybe they can be entertaining too!

So, here is Oculus - completely fail. lol. - http://boxingforcharity.com/multiboxing-fail-0000001-the-oculus/170/

(note, after this post, I will probably just edit my main post with links so I don't always bump my thread, and occassionally only bump if i'm live streaing something important.)..

If anyone has any feedback on ideas how to make streaming boxing interesting (in case my current format is completely boring) let me know. I'll also except comments on my boxing skllls, but I am completely aware that I'm pretty nub right now. And to think I'll be attempting 10 mans in a few months....

Personal note. I created a twitter account to announce when I am streaming. I currently have 0 followers :(, so if you want to be a kind boxer! Follow me - boxing4charity!
