Recently issues with stuck on loadingscreens

Hello, ive recently started to have issues with the loadingscreen when i zone in and out of arena etc. Have lead to a few loses since its sometimes one that doesnt load. Any1 eles have same issue latley? maby a solution solution?

Hi,

I'm experiencing the same. Every wow loads pretty quickly (blue bar goes to 100% on all wows). Only one, mostly the main will be able to be played, while the others are still in the loading screen.
They show up already on the main, and can be buffed and healed up etc.
Haven't done any arena, only pve. Zoning is a real pain.

Im my case its just one window, the loadingbar doesnt load at all -> character loading screen -> disconnected. Seams pritty weard but i hope some new computerparts will do the diffrence :)

Are you using the mod called spy?

I installed that a while back and it gave me all sorts of headaches until I figured it out. It would cause my loading screens to freeze, leading to several arena losses.

If you don't have spy installed, then try turning all your settings down to minimum and see if it still occurs.

If it does, then it could be your graphics card is bugging out. I know that latest Nvidia drivers have a bug...

This happens with addons that suck in some fashion, over firing and garbage collecting endlessly.

Find a non-critical instance that you can experience this, run a performance meter addon and the addon that it tells you that used all your memory is the one.

You don't say if it ever finishes loading or not. This can suck if its just arenas, but that should give you some clues on what to disable. If its just instances or arenas and you can skirmish with someone else quick to test it. that would be great.

Hehe, actually ordered some new computerparts today, thats what im waiting for to be able to record.
So hopefully in a few weeks when im happy with the outcome, il release it. Might spoil som clips on the forums during the process, so stay tuned.

Regarding the addon thingie, i have Recount recently installed, might be that, gonna check when i come home. Ive had problems with Recount before, so woudnt supprise me :)

hmm.. dont think my problem is the same as this.. but.. well.. i 5box on a single rig.. and i whenever i enter instance, 2 of my toons will get disconnected and i gonna reconnect.. that happens all the time. but in the normal world.. that rarely happens.. and if it does, it's just probably one toon like maybe once a day or never.. i've tried to disable all adds except jamba... but doesnt really helps..

anyone have similar issues?

This might be dated information, but it could be due to Chat Throttling. Adaptive throttling in ChatThrottleLib kicks in at like 20FPS and used to cause lag issues with Jamba. Supposedly there's also server-side throttling that always occurs on login and at loading/zoning. If you have an addon that's throwing out and pulling a lot of information across several toons and the throttling kicks in, it could cause lagging and disconnects.

Thanks for the info Khatovar.. Yesterday I tried with my 5x 83 toons going to some cata instances.. Got trashed and rezone in multiple times.. Was never a problem zoning... Wonder why this only happens to my other groups in other instances.. especially stockade, once my box goes in, definitely 2 will be thrown out ...

Downloaded the addon, gonna try later and se if it works. I made a ticket about it and gm told me to reset my wow folder, but didnt work either.

Freslhy downloaded a new WoW folder and reinstalled all addons so they are up to date. Was ok for like 2-3 weeks but now it have started again, getting stuck on loadingscreen with 1/4 very often. The character that gets stuck never load and after a while it gets to characterscreen with the message, "character not found".
Sucks, any1 eles with same prob still?

I had an issue like this a while ago. I moved/deleted the cache folder in the data folder and it fixed it. You could give that a go.

Deleated the cache folder in the wow map, dunno if there is any in the data folder, havnt checked, can try that :)

WoW Folder/Data/Cache

Those are your two cache folders. If you delete the Data/Cache folder then you're going to have the in-game
downloader going for however long until it gets that data back. If that is indeed your problem it could be that
your HDD is actually corrupting your data at random times.
