Hiya, i started multiboxing with keyclone yesterday, im not really sure if its a recomended program but it seemed very simple and it really is. my "slaves" are level 19 now, decided to go for 4 ele shamans and a paladin. Leveling is going pretty slow but its smooth.
Ok, my questions!
Would anyone be able to link a thread or explain how to do the thing where all your character kind of split up in a formation (so i can spread my totems out)
Does anyone know if theres a button or key binding on keyclone which pauses it? Every time i say anything i get maps popping up, chat logs appearing on the 4 other screens.
And should my pally go prot, and one of my shamans go elemental for leveling? Or keep 4 ele shaman and a prot paladin?
Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for the help! :)

Formations seem to be a movement keys bound to a key, for my 3 box i bound z to move my main forward one, one alt to strafe left and one to strafe right. For you with 5 characters adding one to move straight back and one not moving would cause a cross formation. Its really not that hard, just go into your keybindings and set a key to each clone to do what you want it to do. As for pause i don't know any key for this, so I can't help you there.

you can set the override to any hotkey you want. by default, keyclone has this set to PAUSE... which is usually on the top row of the keyboard, on the same key with BREAK.
if you don't like that one, go to keyclone/setup/override settings and chose your own

I levelled to 70 with 5 ele shams so 4 ele and a prot pally should be fine. In fact you should find the pve side of things even easier.
Do a search for spread out +macro - should give you the info you need.

Unfortunatly now im unable to level my little friends as one got banned, im not sure why, i think my friend whos account im using did something, however hes bought a new account and is quickly leveling to 21 so we can continue.
Thanks for the help everyone and i hope to be speedily leveling - And hopefully i wont be giving out any more usernames and passwords with this pause button :)

They ban accounts if a multiboxer is reported and the names don't match on the account, basically.

Ah, well im screwed =/
I should really read more FAQ's =]
Is there a high chance of getting banned for this reason - I mean each one of my 5 accounts is in a different name, and he's telling me it got banned for a different reason.
Basically im really enjoying multiboxing and i want to know if the risk is big or small? i mean i have enough details to get it unbanned again (unless its permanent) on all of the accounts, i just dont really want to get them close to 70 and end up having to stop.
Or maybe reroll on a lower pop server so the chances of getting reported are lower?

there is no risk... because risk implies a chance, ever so slight, of another outcome being possible.
in the case of a multi=boxer getting reported.. regardless of server pop... there is no risk here.. it's guaranteed.
and if a GM responds... there is no risk of him checking account names... again.. guaranteed.
and whether or not there is a risk of your accounts getting banned for account sharing... no risk...
as it is guaranteed.

Keyclone pretty much sums it up...IF you're reported for botting, that's the first thing they look at. A couple of us have already gone through it(though one was only slightly different, tooks months but he got it back because the name was blood-related at least)
Better to save yourself the heartbreak now and buy your own same-named account to replace it before you get high lvl'd lol
