4 Frost DK & 1 Holy Paladin - spec, stats, etc.

so the past week, I had been looking at Shodokan's toons and Palle's toons. In the next 2 weeks, I will have the wep, and I have been looking around. Today, I noticed Shok went back to a 2H. Currently I have mostly haste, but should I be moving to all mastery now? (I bought all the mastery gear over the weekend with extra honor).

I played around with the 1h spec and icy touch. The few bgs I did, the dk I speced seemed to be doing lower DPS all the time.

I am driving with my Holy Paladin, currently in the 1650's for 5s. I think I will be leveling out soon, and will need a dedicated healer in order to push farther.

Just looking for some feedback on specs and gear and how to improve. I just got the 3 DKs to 500 JC yesterday. So I should have the 3 JC gems today or tomorrow.

I'm torn between getting the 2H'er or 1H'ers too. Mainly because if I ever wanted to mess around with Unholy, the 2H'er would be ideal. Mmm, decisions, decisions.

im tempted to go 2 hander's aswell, but pre 365 vicious what should i get, the rewards from CoC?

I went 2hers so i could get 2200 in 3's... the necrotic strike pressure is better. For pure damage go with dual wield.

I went DW because Shodokan told me so and I think he's probably the best arena boxer in the world so I go by his advice almost blindly.

But then I run a comp in 2s and 3s with friends where I need all the burst I can get and DW is better for that than 2h.

It's a joke how easy it is to get 2.2k+ when single boxed with other people so why struggle and go through the frustration of trying to land a hungering cold in 5s:

Mastery.

Reforge everything you have while keeping the minimum hit% cap and put it into mastery. Since you are rocking frost, and the majority of your dps is coming out of HB and frost strike, go mastery!

Mastery since razorice gives 10% frost dmg and howling blast and frost strike got buffed. If you went haste you would need such a high amount to be effective like 2.5k+ to erase like 2 seconds off of a rune cooldown from 9s to about 7s. And the only way you can get that much haste is if you go full pve gear which means DK dead in 2 seconds.

So ignore haste go full mastery regardless if you are DW or 2h.

DW is better... like i have said before. But for what i wanted to do i went with 2h weps. I will get 1h weps this season though for sure since i have a high point cap per week (2400)

Think I have given up on 5s. I did 2 games over the weekend. Both said 3min wait time, turned into almost 10min each. Screw that.

Is that because I have a terrible MMR and it can't match? Or people just aren't queuing it up? It's not like I am queuing at 2am.

No one queues 5's at the beginning of the season... this hasn't changed. Wait a few weeks till people get their fill of 3's and get bored of RBGs.
