I'm currently attempting to dualbox two characters using ISBoxer and Jamba.

My problem is that within a few steps of walking my characters become unsynced and not traveling together so I have to correct my position on the master to keep them together.

I have both mouse and key broadcasting on. I've tried it with Jamba's follow on and off. This seems like a simple problem, but I can't seem to figure it out and its preventing me from having fun. Could I get pointed in the right direction?

Let me know if you need more information.

LOL!

Well, first place to start is, to check both accounts have ISBOxer checkbox, checked on the addon screen. Then you will want to check your settings and ensure things like "Auto follow after combat" is set up.

Im sure, your toons are not breaking follow because of something simple like... one has epic mount speed, when the other is under level 20?

Did you blacklist the ASDW keys? Not even sure if that isn't allready done by default in ISboxer.

You're also playing with ONLY keymaps active? and not both keymaps and broadcast all activated?

Blacklisting is not necessary if the individual is utilizing keymaps correctly.

Quoted and emphasized. Read and understand how keymaps work, then read and understand how to implement FTL and you will thank yourself every time your main gets incapacitated and in lots of other situations. Trust Us(tm).

If you have mouse broadcasting enabled, it will always break follow after a few steps. Make sure that is off, and set up a "hotkey" for when you need it.

Thank you for the suggestions. I believe it's that I'm relying on the repeater and not using keymaps enough. There's alot more work upfront to get even a functions 2 dps same class team functioning. I will have to do some more reading.

Thanks again for the posts.

Just reiterating, you should be using /follow (alt-f is the default keybind) to have the slave follow the master. You really don't want to be turning on mouse repeater most of the time. Jamba should be handling most of your quest acceptance dialogues and things

to start with just use the normal keymap as set up and put the abilities you want to start with on keys 1to - (I use "=" as interact with target... which has to be set up in the keybinds menu on every character. This way = will cause the slaves to assist off the master and interact with their target. Almost exclusively the way I interact with the world).

As long as both characters have fireball on the 1 key for example, both toons should shoot the same thing.
