Anyone here using a triple monitor stand?
How is e.g. XFX Triple Monitor Stand compared to Ergotech Triple Monitor Stand?
I have three 24" monitors (1920x1200) I'm planning to use for gaming and it would be nice to have only one stand for them.

I have two "free standing vertical 22" stands from them (holds two up to 26" monitors). They are great, their website is an abomination of Frontpage and something from the Royal Apothecary. This is a setup that requires no clamps on your desk or what not, it just has big lead like feet. I hot glue gunned the feet in place, just out of paranoia.
I have the same setup along with other people at work.
Call them, tell them what you want they are real people, the price is awesome.

Price was very nice on e.g. this

but as it seems to have no way to change angle on the outer monitors it's not what I'm looking for.
I need it to be able to look like this:

I have 3 Ergotron monitor stands and love them. I would probably never change brands.
I have http://www.ergotron.com/Products/tabid/65/PRDID/355/language/en-US/Default.aspx and love it.
For 3 though: http://www.ergotron.com/Products/tabid/65/PRDID/128/language/en-US/Default.aspx
and http://www.ergotron.com/Products/tabid/65/PRDID/197/language/en-US/Default.aspx.
They say only 21" though. I am mostly brand loyal more than what is on sale. I have to live with it even after the sale goes off.
Would 3 in portrait mode work? Maybe the stands that only allow 21's are just trying to make sure you don't get too wide away from one pedestal.

you will also need to add the extenders if you want to use screens over 20" with these brackets

I bought an Ergotech and I HATED it.
It has a spring load with "adjustable" tension for the angle, I could never get the angle tension high enough to keep the 3x 20" screens from point up into the sky. The three monitors looked up to the heavens. That was a few years ago but I would never buy from them again.

Sorry, I guess I don't understand the stand you had, but my guess is the spring counters gravity. Gravity would make the screens point down and the spring would try to hold up the monitor to keep it pointing normal. Could you have the bracket upside down and have the spring pushing too hard that makes it point up instead of just straight?

Thats how I do it, then I have 3 more on top of those with the two out tilted down and in and a bigger screen (27) in the middle. All my stuff is suspended from wood and cheap single stands.

Proluma Deluxe Triple LCD Stand, I use it for 3x BenQ 24" monitors. It looks good and the side monitors is mounted on arms so you can angle them like you want. Its really heavy and feels solid. Can upload some pictures if you want to see it :)
I have no experience with other triple lcd stands so there might be other similar products that does the same job for less dollars.
