RAF question regarding DK's

Do DK's at level 80 get 40 levels to gift, or only 12 due to only leveling from 55?

I think only 12, since you havent leveled to 55 but started there

Every even level that you gain with your characters gives you 1 level to grant. So starting at level 56 you get
your first grant-able level. :)
