got AB as the daily today. we got 4 capped. The only one they couldn't get was the mine I was defending. 10 other people unable to do meet any objective.

The best part is when they blame you for the loss.

The best part is when they blame you for the loss.

I've been in games where I have literally camped 6-7 people ON THEIR SHIP and we've lost. One or two guys blame me for the loss.

People are stupid. This is why I multibox ;p

I got WSG and as usual the other five people were useless. They could not retrieve the flag or cap the flag without my assistance.

The alliance capped 1 flag, so I decided to do everything my self.

I got the alliance flag, ran my 5 DKs back to base. Their flag carrier got away and hid on the roof. The other five members could not take him down. So I parked my Flag carrying DK on the cap with our only healer and moved the other four to take the flag back. The 4 DKs managed to kill the entire alliance team, including the flag carrier. I simultaneously retrieved the flag and capped. I managed to do this twice.

With 1 minute to go, the Alliance managed to steal our flag and run it back to their base. I was yelling at my 5 fail teammates to ninja the flag (they were very close) but none of them did. Alliance capped to even the score 2/2 and the time ran out. Since they capped it last, they won.

prime example of why i multibox, at least you can rely on yourself

At least you can rely on yourself
Main reason why I started to box aswell.

Not even gonna start on summing shit up, since you'll find one fail story everytime you play a couple of BG's at peak times.

A prime example is in AV, when people cap the oposing Base GY+ 2 towers/bunkers and stand between the 3 of them not defending any of them. Especially in FW base. Alliance stands in front of drek, so with a bit of luck you can ninja cap the entire base back, because people are to damn stupid to semi afk in a bunker/tower instead of on the famous "hill."

The number of people botting in BG's is unbelievable btw.

Once you know what to look for, it isn't uncommon to see 50% or MORE in the 10 mans botting.

1 rogue kept following me today in IoC, and blamed me for losing...

I have the best IoC strat for my hunters (undefeated!), but yeah...other BG's seem painfully failboat. I had hoped TB would be my easiest source of honor, but the Horde on my server have completely lost the ability to win it with regularity. So I turned to random bg's and...yuck. I don't get blamed for losses a lot, but I am told I'm bad a lot (which might actually be true).

I used to try and be reactive in BG's, do stuff like try and hold 3 cap in AB or whatever.

Then I thought strategically about what I am and what a 4 or 5 box can do. It is all about impetus and momentum. If you stop moving or begin to behave predictably the other side will quickly operate around you.

In short, I never stop capping. If the opportunity to GY camp more than my number of players presents itself I will take it. On WSG and TP roam mid map and never let them cap, deliberately aim to snipe the flag carrier. If your team gets a cap DO NOT TURTLE. Stay midfield and keep blasting them when they try to run it. This might turn into a full match duration draw, but I've had games where I had 200 HK's and had 2x as much honor as the hordies ;p

In EOTS pick one side and ride back and forth between the two, I find that I generally have no problems holding 2 points down with minimal interruption due to the cap mechanic. This leaves 10 people to control flag or a third point.

In AB my go to move is, pop path of frost and ride directly to Farm (as Ally). Cap that point and then prepare for the respawners from battles elsewhere. If your team isn't all bots this can often turn into a 4 cap as a huge brawl erupts at Farm.

These strats work for my DK team, the problem is there are so many botters these days that a win or a loss can be pre-determined on some maps based on ends up with more.
