Like every year around this time, i get bored with the game, and this year it's not much different. i just finished leveling all my important teams and reached the 100k gold milestone, after which i'm a bit out of challenges to pursue.
So i decided to quit for a month or two and see what comes up after that.
Unfortunately my account just got extended for another month, so i might use it now and then to keep the transmutes up.

It's amazing how much free time you have, when you stop playing wow. And how much more money you are spending on things like drinks in a bar :)

And i'm back again. Moved to Amsterdam in the meantime and got me 50 meters network cable through the house, so i'm all set.
Not sure what to do yet, but just starting with one account, probably adding 2 more later. I think i'll keep it relaxed this time. No raids, no heroics, just some questing and world pvp. The good thing about 3-boxing is that you can do the smaller battlegrounds, which i never really tried before. And maybe give archaeology and fishing a try.
The annoying part is that it has been raining since i quit wow 6 weeks ago, and now the sun is shining again... I'm doing something wrong here...

Gotta love internet videos. Can completely swamp viewers with one side of the story, play parady music while they quote snippets of the other side's discussion, and make their viewers come away with a "Holier than thou" view of the issue where they assume the other side is full of loons.
Entertaining, yes.
Reasonable to think you can learn anything at all from them or that they add to the extremely complex issues that they "address", no.
However, both sides have seen it's effectiveness and use this kind of thing to it's utmost. It's why our biggest problem in America is that we have a completely polarized electorate that think the other side are complete idiots. This leads to gridlock in congress where there is no compromise because to have a discussion with the other side is seen as immoral (or even evil). Let's celebrate the gridlock and inability of democracies everywhere to deal with the very real debt crises that are going on because governments are shut down as politicians yell at each other.
Issues are complex, both sides have excellent points, and a rational discussion with a bit of humility would do wonders. If we don't figure that out soon, we'll all have the kind of open and free policies they do in China.
