Hi,

Is there a more detailed guide on how to configure ISBoxer to work with tunneling services (WoWtunnels, in particular) anywhere? I found one on the Innerspace forum but it seems to assume you already know what you're doing and doesn't give very detailed instructions.

Cheers!

Perhaps something along the lines of this (http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=649&p=2470)?

That's the post I was referring to. The instructions are pretty inspecific and I can't even see half the stuff the OP is refering to. Perhaps the software layout has changed since he wrote that guide?

... Alternatively, maybe I'm just terrible and can't follow simple instructions? It's possible :D

Hm, I struggled through it and I think I've managed to get everything set up until step 5.

5. theres more to do in putty but its described on every major lowerping service, if you want easy then go for smoothping and download their putty serverlist into your puttyfolder and you can load sessions and just change the "tunnels" in step 4 so it fit your needsThat is a bit vague for me.

for the curious noob like me:

WoWTunnels is a proxy service that lowers your ping and also allows you to by-pass certain firewalls so you'll be able to play at work or college. This results in a much more pleasurable experience when playing your favourite games.

FYI, it's hard because Blizzard wants it to stay hard.

... That's what she said

This can't be right or Blizzard would have nerfed it by now :D

Any tips for me where to look for this "more to do in putty" that's supposedly on every tunneling services' page? I still can't find anything.

You can try "fix my lag" service.

Even most of the time I play single player, the latency is still bad. Last few days, whenever I enter ZG/ZA the latency shoot up to 1,000 ms and I can't play at all and I have to log out and log in to get lower latency to 190ms.

I haven't test it out playing on 3 boxes yet but logging in to WOW is not a problem.
