Nice vid Fen but just wondering how it is better than the way I currently do it or if there is no real diff.
I currently use Vuhdo for unitframes (have done with grid as well) and set my heals up as mouseovers. In game I have the same unitframe setup for all clients so I can replace the Blizzard party frame and then I set up an ISBoxer repeater region over them.
My heals are all mouseovers so I basically just run over the repeater region on my main and hit my heal keybind to do pretty much the same as you do in the vid. I find I like my system since it allows me to use righteous defence/intervene etc from the unit frame as well but I'm wondering if there might be more benefit to using the video feeds instead?

Repeater regions require identical resolutions in order to work, Video FX do not. You can see I just place the
Viewer wherever I'd like on my screen and can move it again regardless of having to worry about where it's
placed on my healer's screen.

Ahh, didn't realise about the res requirements....actually never occurred since I expected everyone ran all clients at same res to make swapping and interacting easy. Guess in that case the FX option is better.

I'm not Fenril and I haven't used it, but I'm guessing it negates the need for exactly that. If you're looking at a live feed of your healer's setup, then you don't need to bother with making sure everyone has the same display order. The healer's order is the only one that matters.
Of course, that varies if you're using multiple healers or have multiple things going on. I, too, use mouseover healing, but I'm configured so that when I mouse over certain areas, my healer will heal, and perhaps my Ret would also throw out a WoG. That would still require ordering via unitframes between at least those two, assuming you can send from a feed to two different windows. Otherwise you could use multiple feeds, in which case, order only matters for simplicity.

hehe yeah that is one benefit to Grid/Vuhdo so you can set the order of the party so all of mine are ordered by name, hence they are always in the same spot for everyone.
It seems both methods have benefits and if you on;y need to do mouseclicks on one client then FX seems to be an easier way, just wonder about the GPU load if you have one feed per slave though.

The exact same VFX Viewer can be 'pushed' and synced to every other window of your Character Set assuming
they're using the same computer -- No need to screw around with identical ordering anymore across windows. I
would say the only reason to use Repeater Regions anymore is if you're using multiple computers. There's
probably some other reason but, I can't think of one right now.
