HI folks,

I've been trying to trim the fat from my addons and use as few as possible. I have been using Vuhdo for my heal frames but thought i'd try out the heal layout without elvui as I have been using that package for a long time.

My question is, has anyone been able to setup the raid/party frames alphabetically? I've tried the official forums and the help I got there didn't work. each toon is displayed first and then its very random (each toon is different) as to who shows up next.

If I can't get it to work i'll just switch back to vuhdo and fit it in a little more neatly.

thanks for any help!

I believe Grid can be configured alphabetically. It might integrate into ElvUI but I'm not sure (will look into it). There is another addon called Skinner which might help integrate if its not built into ElvUI.

I posted my suggestion in the other thread, but as an aside, Pitbull has the option somewhere to "show player as party". With that option off, it shows party frames as you describe {player first, then tank/healer, remainder alphabetically}. When it's on, it removes the "pre-formatting" of player first and just lists the whole team in alphabetical order. Check if there's an option to include player in the party frames.

That actually makes some sense. I am able to remove the player from the party and noticed that it is alphabetical, except for the healer who shows up usually in the 3rd slot (one dps shows him last). unfortunately it's not sorted enough to use effectively for healing. I have added vuhdo back in, just have to try and skin/size it to make it look nice. yes, i'm a bit compulsive sometimes :)

thanks for the suggestions!

Just another thought here:
What if you setup an actionbar to represent your party (a button for each toon)?
Easy to align the buttons on each I would think, and your clicks would be broadcast as if you'd pressed a key.

I am using ElvUI with my toons...

I just disabled the Raid frame and placed Healbot at the same place. You can order the party alphabetically with it. Works great for me.
