Ive noticed that when i press any key map thats in my combat mapped keys it does a seriers of 333333 after it. doesnt matter if i press 1, 5 or use a click bar it does these 3333 after it. and its causing problems i have macros i want to use to dispell so they have a click bar that calls a mapped key of ctrl+shift 7-= dpeneding on the character number i want to dispell. the issue is when i do that it presses the ctr+shift 7 but 33333 after so then it spams what ever spell is 3 so its a series of cast stop cast cast stop cast because i have stopcasting in the macro so i acutally have to click the click bar 2 times but since its doing the 3333 ater its just a chain of casting stop casting and wont dispell.

its only keys that are mapped in my combat keymapps

make sure your group has the other dps keys blacklisted. For example... go to character sets. select keymaps and blacklist the dps sets for Wow keybinds or any other set.

I had this issue with my wow set coming through to my rift team when i played.

join my gotomeeting and let me fix it for you...

but really, only other thing i can think of is if you have either

have a copy of a mapped key somewhere with multiple steps that sends 3333. Or you have bad luck and need to reboot innerspace/computer

When did it start happening?

Yep, only time I've seen this is when I had multiple character sets loaded at the same time and it was spamming both keys.

Paste a link to your ISBoxer configuration if you want me to take a look at it. Instructions here: http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=13 (use the private paste option)

I think part of this is easy to fix and part is due to something out of your control.

For the easy part to fix...

Your Ctrl+Shift+8 Mapped Key is a good example. It does two actions:

Do Assist in Non-combat Key Map -> all other
Ctrl+Shift+8 -> self

Then let's look at your Assist Mapped Key in the Non-combat Key Map. It has one action:

Ctrl+Shift+3 -> all other

This means you are telling all of your slaves to send Ctrl+Shift+3 to every other window/slot. Hence, they are sending Ctrl+Shift+3 back to your main. To fix this, change "Do Assist in Non-combat Key Map -> all other" to "Do Assist in Non-combat Key Map -> self". The bad news is that you need to do that for every mapped key which contains that action (most/all of them in the Combat Key Map).

For the part out of your control...

When RIFT gets an input such as "Ctrl+Shift+3" which is not bound to an action in-game it falls through to "3". This was supposed to have been fixed recently but I believe wasn't fully fixed. The fix above may make it a non-issue for you but it is something to be aware of.

I thot Ctrl+shift+3-> all others means when i press ctrl+shift+3 it sends that to all others and with out my current window. which is what i want it to do i want it to press crtl+shift+3. maybe if i make a tank ATG i can have things send to tank instead of self and all others i can send to each ATG that might fix it.

what i dont understand is no matter what hot key i press i.e. 1 or alt+shift+6 it sends ctl+3 alt+3 shift+3 to all windows at the same time. Im going to remake all my combat keymapps that have modifiers.

ok so i did some more testing and if i have my tank and 1 other character, when i press a mappedkey it sends only sends the mapped key plus 3, if i have 2 extra characters logged in it sends the hotkey plus 3 3 and if i have 3 extra characters logged in you see the pattern here. I remade all my other mapped keys that have modifiers in it and its still doing it.

ok this is odd i took out every mappedkey that has 3 in it 3, ctrl+3 ctrl+alt+3 shift+3 shift+crtl+3 shift+alt+3 alt+3 and it still sends 3 after every keypress and it sends it depending on how many characters are logged in

Have you tried starting over from scratch? I have trouble when trying to copy keymaps from one charset to another when creating a new team. I've gotten to the point where I usually recreate the keymaps and character sets when doing this and just maintain separate XML files.

cichard,

The behaviour you are seeing, including the number of 3s being dependent on the number of slaves logged in, is exactly consistent with what I posted previously. Go back and read my previous post for the full explanation and fix - it is a simple fix.

Or, here is the relevant bit...

change "Do Assist in Non-combat Key Map -> all other" to "Do Assist in Non-combat Key Map -> self"

You need to make that change in every mapped key that has that action.

i made that change and everyone stop assisting what that did then was make it send assist to just the current screen which is my warrior which i dont want him to assist. and it still did the 3333 after making that change

In that case I suspect you have a duplicate keymap being used.

ISBoxer --> Character Sets --> [your character set name] --> select it in the top panel.
In the bottom panel, select "Key Maps" and make sure you only have the keymap you're working on selected in the white list.

See if that fixes it.
