I just tried this out myself by adding it to my existing battle.net account. It automatically tied my authenticator to the new game, let me fire it up with the installed addons I had for my main account, the new login account was under the others in the drop down list as well. I started up hoping that I could get a free bank alt toon setup outside my existing accounts, so I could actually use those toons I made. There is a restriction on this, unless it's a bug which I doubt. You can not access the mailbox and do anything with it untill you upgrade the game from the f2p to retail/digital copy, meaning actually paying the extra $15/month. I couldn't even get my Core Hound pet from the mailbox the little minimap notification said I had waiting for me, like I do on all new toons I make.



edit: Ok, just glanced over those links and saw the restrictions they posted. Was unaware of those before trying this out. I was going by what was posted on Curse.com yesterday, which at the time said there were no restrictions other than the level 20 cap :/

Without those restrictions they'd introduce the ultimate disposable low level bot. Probably not what they intended.

Ok so lets say i got a main account with all expensions, and i recruit 3 new accounts to multibox with.
And i havn't upgrade those 3 new accounts to retail, they are still trials.
Will the RAF link time go ? or does it start when i upgrade them to retail ?

I hope you understand :D

No kidding. Rift did the same thing to me and dropped the price + added a nifty flaming horse for RAF accounts literally the week after I bought my other 4 accounts. :/
